At the MAKS 2021 exhibition in a specially equipped pavilion, the Kazan Helicopters of the Russian Helicopters Holding (part of Rostec Corporation) presented a demonstrator of a system for monitoring the technical condition of the main power elements of the Ansat helicopter. The system was developed jointly with the Institute for the Elaboration of R&D Activities and Technology Transfer.
The system installed on board the helicopter will monitor actual loads on such assemblies as the swashplate, shaft, hub, and main rotor blades directly during piloting. An intelligent data acquisition system will allow monitoring the rate of the actual usage of a particular assembly.
Automatic diagnostics allows monitoring the use of helicopter components with a limited life cycle, taking into account the intensity, conditions, and characteristics of their operation. These benefits will increase the commercial appeal of Ansat.
The Ansat-M helicopter with convertible cabin is demonstrated at MAKS 2021. Visitors of the exhibition were shown passenger configuration with 8 seats and ambulance configuration with a medical module for increased comfort of loading the casualty. The Ansat-M has increased its flight range to 790 km with an extra fuel tank, which is of current interest for many Russian and foreign operators. New main and tail rotor blades with improved aerodynamics will increase the flight characteristics of the rotorcraft.
Dear current and retired employees of trade enterprises in Tatarstan!
On behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan and on my personal behalf, I congratulate you on your professional holiday, the Salesperson Day!
In today’s life, trade is one of the most important sectors of the economy, an indicator of the society’s economic well-being and people’s standards of living.
Today, more than 17,000 retail trade outlets of various formats operate in the consumer market of Tatarstan. The republic is one of the leading regions in terms of retail trade turnover.
The profession of a salesperson is far from easy, as it might seem at first glance. It requires knowledge and competence, responsibility and dedication, initiative and even creativity. But most importantly, it requires the ability to work with people: to be patient and benevolent, attentive and kind.
Please accept my sincere words of gratitude for your diligent work for the benefit of the republic’s development. On your professional holiday I wish you all good health, optimism and vigour, good luck in finding efficient forms of work and cooperation, success in business and high profits!
May happiness, good luck and success be with you in all your endeavours!
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov
Kazan Helicopters of the Russian Helicopters Holding Company (part of Rostec Corporation), jointly with Mecaer Aviation Group, have completed the first development stage of a noise reduction system for the Ansat helicopter. The new solution will provide an unprecedented level of in-flight comfort for passengers.
The noise reduction system is a sound absorbing panel that is installed between the fuselage structure and the ceiling panels. It is made of advanced soundproofing materials that provide best-in-class performance in terms of noise and weight. To further improve helicopter soundproofing in the VIP-configuration, the construction of interior panels was changed, and a special polymer composite is used for their manufacture, with high-performance sound absorbing elements glued in the layers.
“At MAKS 2021, we presented a sound-absorbing panel that will be used in the new noise reduction system on the Ansat-M helicopter. As a result of applying this solution, the noise level in the VIP configuration will be 75 dB", said Chief Designer of the Kazan Helicopters’ Design Bureau Aleksey Garipov.
After certification, the noise reduction system will be optionally installed on Ansat helicopters in passenger, medical, and VIP versions. The new equipment can also be used for helicopters in service. Advantages of the new system include no impact on cabin dimensions, easy installation and removal, and easy access for maintenance.
Russian Helicopters, part of Rostec Corporation, signed a contract with the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergency Management and Natural Disasters Response (EMERCOM) during the MAKS 2021 aviation show to supply nine Mi-38PS helicopters with arctic-type versions by 2024.
The Mi-38PS search and rescue helicopter will provide an unprecedented range of rescue missions, capable of flying up to 750 kilometres with a crew and three rescuers, evacuating people in distress and returning to base. For this purpose, the helicopter will be equipped with extra fuel tanks, and its maximum take-off weight will be increased.
“Our peers need the newest equipment to carry out their tasks in the very challenging conditions of the Arctic and I’m sure that thanks to the advanced flight and technical characteristics of Mi-38 it will become a reliable support in expanding EMERCOM operations in the Far North,” said CEO of Russian Helicopters Andrey Boginsky.
The Mi-38PS will be able to operate in the Far North with autonomous basing, night vision goggles, installation of various rescue equipment and medical modules.
Using special equipment, Mi-38PS will be able to extinguish fires and mitigate consequences of oil spills. Hard mooring nodes on the mooring pad will enable the helicopters to land on icebreaker-class ships, for example, Project 22220 icebreakers of Arktika type, thus expanding opportunities for Mi-38 operation in the Far North.
