Since 2018, Tatarstan has been successfully implementing the Labour Productivity national project, which aims to ensure that the republic’s enterprises are able to increase productivity each year and support employment and business.
At the beginning of 2021, the national project was amended, which affected the criteria for selecting businesses, in particular, trade was added to eligible activities.
The first trade enterprise in the republic to join the National Project was the food retailer OOO Arslan, which will be implementing the project with the Federal Competence Centre in Labour Productivity.
Head of the Regional Competence Centre of Tatarstan Shamil Bayramov said: “This is a very important change for us. The inclusion of the trade sector in the project increases the list of potential participants in the region by hundreds of companies. This will help us ensure that we engage the required number of businesses by 2024”.
The Tatarstan’s Regional Competence Centre in the Field of Labour Productivity (RCC) was established on the basis of the Centre for Energy-Saving Technologies of Tatarstan under the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers as a performer of the “Targeted Support for Increasing Labour Productivity at Enterprises” regional project.
The RCC’s mission is to improve the quality of goods and services and to increase the competitiveness of the Russian economy through creating a culture of high productivity and efficiency among the employees of organisations in Tatarstan.
