Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov chaired a meeting on staffing of industrial and trade companies in Tatarstan.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Andrey Pominov with a brief overview of the education system, Deputy Minister of Labour Employment and Social Security of Tatarstan Klara Tazetdinova with an overview of the labour market, Deputy Minister of Economy Natalia Kondratova, President and Director General of the Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Aleksandr Lavrentyev and Aleksey Pakhomov, deputy heads of executive committees of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Zelenodolsk, and others.
The discussion was focused on the progress in the potential labour market in industrial sectors of Tatarstan and prospects for attracting human resources to the sector from other regions. Among the most popular occupations in the industrial sector are blue-collar jobs (turners, fitters, milling operators, welders, machine operators, equipment adjusters, electricians, etc.).
At the end of the meeting, the participants voiced their proposals on the issues of staffing industrial enterprises in Tatarstan and on the need to create conditions for interaction between employers and educational institutions in order to optimise the educational process with account for the requirements to upgrade professional skills.
A charity mobile laundry will be working from August 12th until August 17th every day near Magnit shop at 1 Rodina St. in Kazan from 16:00 until 21:00. Anyone can bring unwanted items for charity purposes there. In return, you can wash your own clothes, for example, large-sized items that cannot be washed at home. All collected clothing will be sorted: clothes in good condition will be given to families in need in Tatarstan, while rags will go for recycling.
The campaign is part of the Pure Happiness charity programme run jointly by Tide brand of Procter & Gamble and the Magnit retail chain. The Laundry will tour seven Russian cities. Previously it has visited Tula, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Stavropol and Volgograd, and now it is collecting clothes in Kazan.
In 8 more Russian cities you can give a second life to clothes by dropping them off at special containers set up at Magnit stores (addresses are on Tide’s Instagram page) or at the collection points of programme partners marked on the Useful City map at http://www.poleznygorod.ru/. The campaign will cover 15 cities of Russia.
It is possible to take part in charity action also, having bought a Tide washing powder or gel in Magnit stores; from each purchase RUB 1 will be directed on charity clothes collection to help people in need. All who will tell about the action in social networks will have an opportunity to win numerous prizes: sweatshirts, Tide laundry capsules or certificates for shopping in Magnit.
Online forum entitled “100% Tatarstan. Education. Science and Technology. Labour Market” will be held on August 12-14 on the platform www.100tatarstan.com and will bring together representatives of the Tatarstan Government, experts in education and science, businesses and people, partners of the republic.
The Forum will cover all levels of education within the framework of the Lifelong Learning concept and will present an ambitious programme. Its order is as follows:
12 August: Pre-school and school education, upbringing;
13 August: Secondary and higher education, job market;
14 August: Useful expert talks for parents of pre-school and school children.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan German Lerner had a videoconference meeting today with top executives of the United Jewel Company (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). The meeting was held at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan.
The meeting was attended by President of United Jewel Limited Rajhi Abdullah Mohammed, Director General of United Jewel Company Mahmud Abu-Rashid, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Ziabbarov, Head of Saby Municipal District of Tatarstan, Chairman of Saby Municipal District Council Rais Minnikhanov and representatives of Republic’s petrochemical enterprises.
At the meeting, the parties discussed further cooperation in implementing production, trade, and investment projects in the petrochemical sector.
During the meeting, German Lerner expressed gratitude to the guests from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their interest in developing cooperation with Tatarstan. He spoke about the development of bilateral cooperation with Saudi Arabia, and presented the main enterprises of the republic’s petrochemical sector.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov had a videoconference meeting today with Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Director of Investment Project Development Centre Khurram Teshabaev.
The event was also attended by heads of leading enterprises and organisations of Tatarstan and Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state, promising areas, as well as issues concerning further deepening of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, investment, transport, logistics, and other areas. Such projects include production of KAMAZ trucks in Uzbekistan, creation of Himgrad industrial park in Tashkent region, development of IT and housing and other projects.
“We do hope that these activities, visits and meetings, of which we have had a lot this year, will produce great results for mutual benefit”, Minister Karimov said. In conclusion, he expressed gratitude to leaders of Uzbekistani enterprises and organisations for special attention to developing cooperation with Tatarstan.
Also, Albert Karimov invited enterprises from Uzbekistan to visit Tatarstan to take part in the Tatarstan Mechanical Engineering Forum in early December this year.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov paid a working visit to RariTEK’s production facilities today.
RMZ RariTEK is a production and technical base producing gas-fuelling equipment, mobile gas-fuelling vehicles, RGK gas engines, service equipment for gas-fuelled vehicles and highly specialised components. RMZ also produces medium- and large-sized buses under its own LOTOS brand.
The company pays special attention to developing new technologies and processes for manufacturing cryogenic fuel systems, as well as ways to introduce them into vehicles of various modifications. Technology and processes for component parts and equipment for small-scale LNG plants have also been created in-house.
As part of the visit, Albert Karimov toured the company and its line of NGV vehicles, including natural gas-powered tractor trucks; he also toured the production units and held talks on future cooperation.
A tour of the production facilities of RariTEK group was organised, where the Minister was told about the capabilities and achievements of the company, the unique developments of experts, which are successfully applied in a variety of industries.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov paid a working visit today to the TESK company, a resident of the Naberezhnye Chelny PSEDA. The company specialises in the production of line fittings for the installation of overhead power lines with self-supporting insulated wires.
The company has its own design and technical departments, maintains its own test laboratory to monitor the quality of its materials and components. All products are also checked for compliance with regulations and industry standards.
The products manufactured by the company are designed in accordance with the recommendations of installation and operating organisations; they are of the same quality as imported counterparts and can be used at ambient temperatures from ‑60˚C to +50˚C, at altitudes up to 1000 metres above sea level, in areas with pollution levels of 1 to 4, in all areas with wind and glaze ice.
In addition, active work is underway with the Scientific and Technical Centre of the ROSSETI Federal Grid Company under the Unified Energy System of Russia to certify the line fittings produced by TESK. Positive test reports from an independent testing laboratory have been received, and an application has been prepared and submitted to ROSSETI for approval.
Vaccination continues at POZIS (part of Rostec Corporation). Up to 60% of employees are expected to be vaccinated by September.
To date, more than 600 people have been vaccinated with the first component of Sputnik V and more than 1,400 with the second component, which represents more than 45% of the total number of employees. There is also an opportunity to be vaccinated with an alternative product, Sputnik Light.
Employees are provided with optimal conditions for vaccination without discontinuing work. Galina Osokina, contact welder for the production of refrigerated appliances and commercial medical equipment, noted that they are pleased that a vaccination point has been organised at the plant. It is very convenient for the workers, because they do not have to go anywhere.
Special rooms equipped with medical freezers for vaccine storage designed by POZIS have been set up in the medical stations of the enterprise.
The procedure is conducted by qualified professionals from the Zelenodolsk Central District Hospital.
The enterprise implements the necessary set of measures to protect employees from COVID-19, including regular treatment of production facilities, common areas and provision of personal protective equipment to employees.
The Mi-17V-5 and Ansat helicopters of the Kazan Helicopters company (Russian Helicopters holding) will take part in the flight programme of the annual aviation festival I Opt for the Sky, marking the Russian Air Fleet Day. Guests of the event may visit a vocational training area of the Kazan Helicopters, where one can find out about job vacancies of the enterprise.
During the demonstration flights in the skies above Kazan, it will be possible to see the Mi-17B-5 and Ansat helicopters in pairs and individually. The helicopters will fly at an extremely low altitude of 50 metres. The helicopters will be performing several manoeuvres in pairs: a slide with a turn, turns, and a descent. During individual flights the audience will be able to see the helicopters’ hovering, turns, movements, slides, dives, and bows.
On the platform in front of the Kazan Family Centre, an interactive display of the company will take place. For the first time ever, a drone flight zone will be set up on a fenced-off area. Visitors will be able to try their hand at operating a quadcopter, using special goggles and a remote control. The visitors will be supported by members of Daedalus, team of the Kazan Helicopters and KNITU-KAI, being winners of the Cyberdrome semi-finals at MAKS 2021.
Guests will also see a museum display, where they can learn the history of the plant, types of manufactured helicopters, their modifications and characteristics. Nearby will be a photo zone where the Ansat helicopter will be installed.
The I Opt for the Sky air festival dedicated to the Day of the Russian Air Fleet will take place at the Kazan Family Centre on August 7, 2021. The event is organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan and the Kazanskaya Yarmarka.
It is aimed at popularising aviation among young people, raising their awareness of the aviation industry, enhancing the prestige of engineering and technical jobs, and holding a holiday for industry professionals.
About 20 aircraft, including aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Defence, civil and experimental aviation, the Central Aero Club of Tatarstan, and Kazan Helicopters are taking part in the programme. The Strizhi aerobatic team was also invited.
The event will include children’s modelling clubs, parachute demonstrations, various master classes, a concert programme, award ceremony for distinguished workers of the aviation industry of Tatarstan, entertainment programme for children, career guidance alley, where the leading enterprises of Tatarstan’s aviation industry will demonstrate their achievements and invite young people to join their ranks.
In addition, on this day, the Kazan Higher Armoured Command School will hold another information and awareness campaign about military contract service in the Russian Armed Forces. It will include a visit to the Museum of Military Glory, the military contract service recruitment point, and displays of small arms and uniforms.
