A charity mobile laundry will be working from August 12th until August 17th every day near Magnit shop at 1 Rodina St. in Kazan from 16:00 until 21:00. Anyone can bring unwanted items for charity purposes there. In return, you can wash your own clothes, for example, large-sized items that cannot be washed at home. All collected clothing will be sorted: clothes in good condition will be given to families in need in Tatarstan, while rags will go for recycling.
The campaign is part of the Pure Happiness charity programme run jointly by Tide brand of Procter & Gamble and the Magnit retail chain. The Laundry will tour seven Russian cities. Previously it has visited Tula, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Stavropol and Volgograd, and now it is collecting clothes in Kazan.
In 8 more Russian cities you can give a second life to clothes by dropping them off at special containers set up at Magnit stores (addresses are on Tide’s Instagram page) or at the collection points of programme partners marked on the Useful City map at http://www.poleznygorod.ru/. The campaign will cover 15 cities of Russia.
It is possible to take part in charity action also, having bought a Tide washing powder or gel in Magnit stores; from each purchase RUB 1 will be directed on charity clothes collection to help people in need. All who will tell about the action in social networks will have an opportunity to win numerous prizes: sweatshirts, Tide laundry capsules or certificates for shopping in Magnit.
