Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov arrived in Kazakhstan as a member of the Tatarstan delegation. Within the visit, he met with Marat Karabayev, Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan, and visited TOO Kazakhstan Aviation Industry, where he was briefed on development of the aviation industry in the country.
In his speech during the meeting, Minister Karimov said that each joint event gives new impetus to the development of cooperation, it yields fruit, business contacts are expanding, and there are promising areas of interaction. And despite the coronavirus pandemic and the introduction of restrictive measures in 2020, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Tatarstan increased by 14% compared to 2019 and, according to Tatarstan Customs, amounted to US$ 630.8 million. The Republic of Kazakhstan has been among Top 7 partners of Tatarstan in terms of foreign trade turnover in the last 5 years.
Such enterprises as KAMAZ, Tatneft, Kazan Helicopters, Tatspirtprom, Zelenodolsk Shipyard, UK KER-Holding and others intensively cooperate with their Kazakhstani partners.
During the meeting, the parties positively assessed the current state and prospects of relations development, and expressed their readiness for further progressive interaction in building up trade and economic cooperation.
Winners and laureates of Our Time - Beznen Zaman Republic’s Annual Open TV Festival of Working Youth Creativity held with the support from the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and under the auspices of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO will perform a grand gala concert on August 30.
Working youth will make a creative gift for residents and guests of Kazan in honour of the Day of Tatarstan and the City Day.
A colourful performance by the winners of the Our Time - Beznen Zaman festival will be traditionally held on the square in front of the Galiaskar Kamal Tatar State Academic Theatre. The concert starts at 13:30 and will run until 16:00.
This year’s festival of working youth is dedicated to the Year of Native Languages and National Unity, so during the concert the audience will be offered a programme full of dances and songs of various nations.
The following creative teams will present their masterpieces: Road Safety State Budgetary Institution; Gorbunov KAZ - branch of Tupolev Corporation; Ammoni; Kazan Gunpowder Plant; Mamadysh District Education Department; Gorky Zelenodolsk Shipyard; Tattelecom, etc.

Within the framework of implementing the Labour Productivity national project, the Professional Skills Development Agency (WorldSkills Russia), jointly with the Ministry of Economic Development, is holding a series of events entitled “Innovators’ Marathon” in 2021, aimed at creating a movement of innovators and professional development of employees at enterprises participating in the national project.
On 17 August 2021, from 16:00 to 17:00, the first event of the Marathon of Innovators series will take place. The event will be held in face-to-face and remote formats with an opportunity of remote connection of speakers and listeners.
The focus of the kick-off event is the portrait of present-day innovators and the tools for creating an enabling environment for their activities in enterprises, as well as getting to know the participants in the innovators’ movement.
One of the speakers at the event will be Sergey Obozov (Rosatom Corporation) who will tell the audience about the formation and development of the innovators’ movement within Rosatom and the methods and techniques to improve the quality of innovation proposals from employees. The main question of the discussion: how to identify an employee who has innovation potential and to create conditions for his development within the company.
A meeting of the Coordinating Council for the Promotion and Protection of Consumer Rights in Tatarstan was held today at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Head of the Rospotrebnadzor Department in Tatarstan Marina Patyashina and Head of the State Alcohol Inspectorate of Tatarstan Zhaudat Akhmetkhanov delivered a report on the results of their efforts to protect the rights of deceived consumers.
According to Rospotrebnadzor, they managed to protect 67 more citizens who suffered from unscrupulous actions of law firms, the court awarded consumers’ money in the amount of RUB 2,2 million, compensations for moral damages amounted to RUB 147,000.
Marina Patyashina spoke about complaints related to car dealerships in Kazan. While signing car sales agreements, consumers are provided with misleading information on the price and fittings. After a car purchase it turns out that its price is considerably higher than it was originally agreed upon and the configuration is simpler.
“I ask you to pay special attention to consumer appeals in order to prevent the emergence of such unscrupulous law firms that impose their services and unfair car dealerships mentioned by Marina Patyashina,” Minister Karimov addressed the representatives of Tatarstan municipalities at the end of the meeting.
Since the start of the Labour Productivity national project, participating enterprises had access to training under the Export Growth Accelerator programme developed by the Russian Export Centre’s Export School. A new round of the programme will start in September 2021; applications may be submitted until August 17.
The programme is unique in that it provides business representatives with practical skills for effective export project structuring, risk minimisation and cost reduction, and the use of government support tools for independent replication and scaling of a company’s export activities.
The programme consists of four educational modules and three inter-module periods. The duration of the programme is 3 months.
The educational module is an intensive training course allowing a company to learn and practise key aspects of an export project. Training takes place in groups in a business training format.
During inter-module periods, a company works independently (between the educational modules), preparing the stages of an export project, fine-tuning the obtained knowledge and tools in practice, with constant consulting and individual support of each participating company by REC client managers and supervisor.
Kazan Helicopters company (part of Rostec Corporation) has received permission from the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) to use the Ansat helicopter simulator for Russian civil aviation pilots.
The simulator is authorised by Rosaviatsiya to conduct training on the aircraft type, periodic training of professional skills of Ansat helicopter flight crews.
In 2020, the Kazan Helicopters received a conclusion from the Centre for Expertise and Certification of Aviation Equipment under the N.E. Zhukovsky Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI) that the Ansat helicopter simulator meets all international standards.
The Ansat helicopter’s integrated simulator is equipped with a visualisation system that provides a full view from the pilot’s seat. With its help, two flight areas are reproduced: Kazan, including the flight-test facility of the Kazan Helicopters, as well as Sochi. A vibraphone and audio system help reproduce the vibration and acoustic effects of the flight. Using the simulator, trainee pilots will be able to practise in various conditions, including dangerous and emergency situations.
Development and manufacture of the Ansat simulator was carried out in accordance with the investment project “Concept for the Development of the Kazan Helicopters Aviation Training Centre under the Russian Helicopters Holding”.
POZIS (part of Rostec Corporation) organises annual summer holidays for the children of its employees. This year, about 200 young people had a rest and improve their health in one of the best medical and preventive treatment facilities of Tatarstan, the Vasilievsky Sanatorium.
POZIS is a socially oriented enterprise. Summer recreation and health improvement of children are the most important components in the system of vocational guidance implemented within the framework of the company’s Comprehensive Programme to Maintain and Develop Human Resources in 2021-2023.
The enterprise also implements a number of activities aimed at support of children of the plant’s employees: assistance to parents in preparation of the first-graders for school, material aid to large families, assistance in employment of children during summer holidays, creation of training groups from among children of its employees in institutions of secondary and higher vocational education, etc.
Every year in the high summer season, the company’s executives meet with young people, who spend their holidays in the Vasilievsky Sanatorium. This August, the representatives of HR department and trade union organisation traditionally met with participants of the Summer 2021 recreational season.
Children and their parents emphasise that recreation at the sanatorium provides an opportunity not only to rest but also to improve health.
Agricultural fairs will start operating in Naberezhnye Chelny on August 14. It will be possible to buy affordable products in the Yuzhny Agro-Industrial Park on Akhmetshin St. Fruit and vegetable products of Tukaevsky District will be presented there.
Fairs will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 to 17:00 until September 11.
On September 11, main fairs will begin, with more districts that decided to present their products for sale to residents and guests of the city. Last year, 27 agricultural fairs were held in the city which yielded more than 436 tonnes of produce.
It should be recalled that the first low-price vegetable fair in Kazan was opened as early as on 24 July.
