Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov took part in the meeting with the founder of the Coşkunöz Holding Mrs. Oya Coşkunöz Aktaş. The meeting took place at the Tatarstan Government House.
As Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov reminded, Turkey today is one of Tatarstan’s leading foreign partners. Turkish companies have invested USD 2 billion in the republic. Ten Turkish factories are successfully operating in the region.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, regular meetings with executives of Turkish companies allow for the prompt resolution of problems that arise and open up new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Despite the difficult situation, Turkish businesses have been actively developing their activities in our Republic, Rustam Minnikhanov said; a significant number of joint projects are taking place in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.
Tatarstan is interested in strengthening cooperation with Coşkunöz, which is an important and reliable business partner, Rustam Minnikhanov stressed during the meeting.
Discussions were held on topical issues of further development of the company’s business in the territory of Tatarstan.
A meeting devoted to vaccination of employees of major enterprises against COVID-19 was held today via video conferencing. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Health of Tatarstan Almir Abashev, Chief Non-Staff Epidemiologist of the republic’s Ministry of Health Dmitry Lopushov, and heads of major industrial and commercial enterprises located in Tatarstan.
First Deputy Minister Abashev spoke about the vaccine and the capabilities of vaccination at enterprises, requirements for vaccinated persons, and sites where vaccination campaigns are carried out in production facilities.
Following up on the topic, representatives of the Tatarstan Grid Company and TGK-16 shared their experience in vaccinating employees against coronavirus at workplaces with representatives of Tatarstan’s enterprises.
“You succeeded in maintaining your production facilities and labour teams in a difficult period. Now our joint task is to take care of your staff and organise vaccination work at your production facilities”, Minister Karimov said at the end of the meeting.
Today, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan hosted a meeting between Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, Minister of Transport and Roads Farid Khanifov, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt RUS Eugen Alles, and Regional Director of Hyve Expo International Dmitry Zavgorodny.
The participants to the meeting discussed issues relating to the promotion of Tatarstan as the main Russian investment platform for the automotive and motor transport industries, and came to a conclusion that it is necessary to consider holding the International Automotive and Investment Forum of Tatarstan on a regular basis starting from 2022. The Forum will be attended by a wide range of high-ranking guests from various countries and regions who are interested in strategic cooperation with Tatarstan, companies of KAMAZ Group, YeLAZ, Sollers Group, and other machine-building organisations of Tatarstan and neighbouring regions of Russia.
It is planned that one of the co-organisers of the Automotive Investment Forum will be Kazanskaya Yarmarka, whose team, jointly with Messe Frankfurt, have been successfully running the TIAF (Tatarstan International Automotive Forum supported by Automechanika) for 5 years now.
The venue for the Forum could be the Kazan Expo exhibition centre, located within walking distance of the Kazan Airport and equipped with state-of-the-art technology for hosting events at the highest international level.
Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov paid a working visit to the city of Ufa.
During the visit, Minister Karimov made a tour of the production sites of the Ufa Engine Building Production Association and studied the industrial potential of the company.
Albert Karimov also took part in a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Innovation of Bashkortostan in the extended Industrial Hour format on the topic “Manufacturing Industry: Challenges and Prospects”.
After the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Innovation of Bashkortostan.
Today, the Gorky Zelenodolsk Shipyard Plant saw a keel-laying ceremony for two Meteor 2020 high-speed hydrofoil passenger ships of project 03830 for the needs of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District within the framework of the regional passenger fleet renovation programme.
The contract for the construction of two Meteor 2020 vessels was signed on January 26, 2021, by Zelenodolsk Shipyard, Severrechflot, and Mashpromleasing. High-speed hydrofoils of project 03830 developed by the Nizhny Novgorod Sea Tech Design Bureau have a number of advantages over the existing hydrofoils and meet all international requirements for comfort and safety.
Design of the 03830 project vessel has already received a prestigious award at the EPDA, a European industrial product design contest. As pointed out in EPDA publications, the ship design and wing system solve several problems: ensuring safety and comfort for passengers and crew, reducing coastal erosion, increasing speed while reducing fuel consumption, and reducing the proportion of human labour in the manufacture of the vessel.
During the event, awards were given to the shipyard’s employees who contributed significantly to the construction and delivery of ships for the Russian Navy.
At the end of the official part, the distinguished guests were granted the honorary right to install builder’s plates to the hulls of the new vessels.
A delegation from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) headed by Minister of External Relations and Peoples’ Affairs Gavril Kirillin arrived in Tatarstan on a working visit the day before. The meeting at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan was chaired today by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan German Lerner.
In the course of the meeting, priority areas were discussed for the preparations to the Days of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in Tatarstan on June 7 to 11, 2021.
During the visit scheduled for March 1-4, the Yakutia delegation will have meetings in the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Sports of Tatarstan, and the Kazan City Administration. The company’s project entitled “Consolidation of Functions of a Power Supply Company and Settlements for Housing and Utility Services in Tatenergosbyt” took second place in the Energy Sales Project of the Year category. Tatenergosbyt also took second place in the Socially Responsible Power Supply Company category. Furthermore, Tatenergosbyt was awarded a special diploma of the jury in the category of The Most Information-Open Power Supply Company for its outstanding performance in certain aspects of consumer relations; namely, the company became the absolute leader in the number of publications in the print media.
A total of 58 companies from 64 constituent entities of the Russian Federation competed for the title of the best power supply company in 2020 in four competitive categories. The contestants were judged by an expert jury consisting of power industry experts from 16 regions, as well as by EnergoNews editorial staff.
OOO Tatneft-Presscomposite, a borrower of the IDF (Industry Development Fund managed by VEB.RF), has completed the implementation of a unified enterprise management information system in Yelabuga (Tatarstan). It is aimed to reduce rejects, cut waste, and increase labour productivity.
At the beginning of 2019, the IDF provided the Yelabuga Composite Materials Plant with a preferential loan under the Industry Digitalisation programme in the amount of RUB 25 million. The total project budget exceeded RUB 31 million.
Tatneft-Presscomposite produces composite materials based on unsaturated polyester resins, glass fibres, and mineral fillers. The products include construction profiles, fiberglass pipes and fences, composite benches and road manholes.
With the help of the IDF, the company automated its production process through implementing a unified management information system. It included three separate digital systems: production management system (MES), a system for collecting equipment operation data (SCADA), and a software resource for integrating all business processes at the enterprise (ERP).
The implementation of the three systems and the digitalisation of the main production processes has made it possible to integrate machine tools into an industrial network and monitor their operation in real time.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held an online meeting with top executives of Complant (China). The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Office of the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Shamil Gafarov, heads of Tatarstan ministries and agencies.
Complant is a large Chinese corporation known for its contracting projects in different countries of the world in such areas as transport, electricity, ecology, metallurgy, various industries, etc.
President Minnikhanov stressed that the republic attaches great importance to expanding ties with China, which are aimed at strengthening Russian-Chinese relations.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan is interested in developing cooperation with Complant, including that in the field of ecology. One of the promising projects is the rehabilitation of the Volga River basin. The plans also included interaction in the field of construction, solid waste processing and power generation, work in the field of muddy sediments, and wastewater treatment. “These issues are very urgent for us, and we are ready to cooperate in all these areas,” the Tatarstan President added.
The Sustainable Energy and Power Engineering 2021 international symposium (SUSE-2021) was be held at the Kazan State Power Engineering University.
The event took place both in distance and face-to-face formats. The total number of participants is more than 800 representatives of universities from 14 regions of Russia, as well as from abroad, including Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, and Bulgaria. The speakers present scientific and practical research in the field of energy and discuss the prospects of international cooperation. The symposium aims to provide a platform for overcoming the main challenges faced by the energy sector and to develop practical solutions for energy sustainability and power engineering.
Within the Symposium, the first working group meeting was held of the Consortium for Technical Education of Russia and Kazakhstan, a public organisation that unites technical universities of the two countries to become an effective platform in the field of professional higher education in technical fields within the framework of the Intergovernmental Commission for Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the moment, the Consortium includes 12 Russian and 6 Kazakhstani universities.
During the first working group meeting of the Consortium, the parties discussed the areas of cooperation, expressed their proposals and wishes, in particular, to expand the geography of the CTERK, attracting more universities and countries.
