OOO Tatneft-Presscomposite, a borrower of the IDF (Industry Development Fund managed by VEB.RF), has completed the implementation of a unified enterprise management information system in Yelabuga (Tatarstan). It is aimed to reduce rejects, cut waste, and increase labour productivity.

At the beginning of 2019, the IDF provided the Yelabuga Composite Materials Plant with a preferential loan under the Industry Digitalisation programme in the amount of RUB 25 million. The total project budget exceeded RUB 31 million.

Tatneft-Presscomposite produces composite materials based on unsaturated polyester resins, glass fibres, and mineral fillers. The products include construction profiles, fiberglass pipes and fences, composite benches and road manholes.

With the help of the IDF, the company automated its production process through implementing a unified management information system. It included three separate digital systems: production management system (MES), a system for collecting equipment operation data (SCADA), and a software resource for integrating all business processes at the enterprise (ERP).

The implementation of the three systems and the digitalisation of the main production processes has made it possible to integrate machine tools into an industrial network and monitor their operation in real time.
