The Sustainable Energy and Power Engineering 2021 international symposium (SUSE-2021) was be held at the Kazan State Power Engineering University.
The event took place both in distance and face-to-face formats. The total number of participants is more than 800 representatives of universities from 14 regions of Russia, as well as from abroad, including Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, and Bulgaria. The speakers present scientific and practical research in the field of energy and discuss the prospects of international cooperation. The symposium aims to provide a platform for overcoming the main challenges faced by the energy sector and to develop practical solutions for energy sustainability and power engineering.
Within the Symposium, the first working group meeting was held of the Consortium for Technical Education of Russia and Kazakhstan, a public organisation that unites technical universities of the two countries to become an effective platform in the field of professional higher education in technical fields within the framework of the Intergovernmental Commission for Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the moment, the Consortium includes 12 Russian and 6 Kazakhstani universities.
During the first working group meeting of the Consortium, the parties discussed the areas of cooperation, expressed their proposals and wishes, in particular, to expand the geography of the CTERK, attracting more universities and countries.
