On June 22, the Kazan Motor-Building Production Association took part in the Lights of Victory Ceremony timed to the 80th anniversary from the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. The event took place in all Russia’s Hero Cities, Cities of Military Glory, and Cities of Labour Valour.
Spotlights were directed into the sky above the factory. This way the engine builders, as well as participants of the event from other regions of Russia, honoured the memory of all those who gave their lives in the fight for the Victory.
During the war, the Kazan Motor-Building Plant was considered to be one of the main engine-building workshops in the country. For its contribution to the victory over the Nazi invaders in 1945, the Kazan Motor Plant No. 16 was awarded the Order of Lenin.
The Kazan State-Owned Gunpowder Factory (KSGF) plans to create a new industrial park. The new complex will occupy over 81 hectares of industrial land and will create about 300 new jobs at the first stage.
The location of the industrial park within Kazan city limits can be called an advantageous factor determined by transport accessibility of the production site, availability of labour resources, highly developed scientific potential of Kazan (Kazan National Research Technological University, Kazan Federal University, and Butlerov Institute of Chemistry).
As of today, the Kazan State-Owned Gunpowder Factory has developed a Concept of Industrial Park at the factory’s vacant premises and a feasibility study of the project. The construction of the industrial park will be completed in 2024.
The advantage of the new industrial park is an opportunity for residents to locate production facilities on a site that meets high industrial and environmental safety requirements, the availability of all types of energy resources, and the ability to use the unique technology expertise of the KSGF.
The site of the Industrial Park at the Kazan State-Owned Gunpowder Factory will accommodate enterprises specialising in the production of fine chemicals, metal ware, high-tech equipment, and machinery.
Today, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the Tatarstan Committee to Combat Illicit Trafficking in Industrial Products in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Committee was chaired by German Lerner, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan and attended by representatives of Tatarstan’s controlling authorities.
The meeting focused on measures to prevent the supply of inadequate quality products to educational, healthcare, and social service institutions in the republic and reviewed the results of the ongoing work on compulsory marking of goods with identification means.
As German Lerner noted, according to the official website of the unified national track & trace digital system Chestny ZNAK, around 10,000 participants from Tatarstan have registered in the marking system as of today.
He also reminded that from June 1, 2021 marking for ice cream (except for ice cream without milk fat and/or milk protein) and cheese was started. Since September 1, marking will be compulsory for other dairy products with expiry date over 40 days. From December 1 this year, for dairy products with a shelf life of less than 40 days.
The process of implementing the pilot project at the plant includes several stages: Preparation, Diagnostics and Planning, Implementation, and Replication. The second stage of the pilot project, Diagnostics and Planning, has been completed at NCCP, which is an active participant in the Labour Productivity national project, with the support from RCC of Tatarstan.
The purpose of this stage is to describe the current state of the stream at the start of the project, to identify problems that hinder to work more effectively, to set goals and develop measures to achieve the targets.
The outcome of the Diagnostics and Planning phase was a set of documents, which are required for the next phase of the project, Implementation. After carrying out all the work at the second stage, an understanding comes of the existing situation on the pilot stream and where to move on.
As a reminder, the Labour Productivity national project was approved by the May 2018 Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin that aims to create the conditions for continuous growth of productivity in the country. For this, a set of governmental support measures has been developed for businesses, which includes financial incentives, expert assistance in optimising production processes, introduction of online services into the digital ecosystem of an enterprise participating in the national project; formation of a movement of innovators with the involvement of WorldSkills experts and infrastructure.
It is planned to create an annual rating of participating regions as part of the Labour Productivity national project. Such an initiative was presented by the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation during the plenary session of the 3rd Productivity 360 Federal Forum. According to Maksim Reshetnikov, it will allow to trace more effectively a course of implementation of the national project.
“I believe, the built-up system of the national project, the growing number of participants, the accumulated successful practices already allow us to launch our own rating of the regions that participate most actively and effectively in the measures of State support,” said Minister Reshetnikov.
The plenary session was attended by Nikolay Solomon, FСC Director General, Nikolay Lyubimov, Governor of the Ryazan Oblast, Robert Urazov, Director General of WorldSkills Russia, Masashi Ishida, Executive Vice-President of Toyota Motor branch in St. Petersburg, and Andrey Sanosyan, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
As a reminder, the 3rd Productivity 360 Federal Forum took place in Nizhny Novgorod on June 15-16. The event was organised by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Federal Competence Centre in Labour Productivity (FCC). POZIS (part of the Tecmash Concern under the Rostec Corporation) showcased high-tech medical refrigeration equipment, which is widely used today in specialised laboratories, medical and pharmaceutical institutions both in Russia and abroad, at the 26th Tashkent International Healthcare Exhibition (TIHE 2021) in Uzbekistan.
POZIS demonstrated its serial equipment: medical refrigeration and freezing appliances, as well as disinfection devices. Participants of the medical exhibition showed great interest in both germicidal recirculation UV-irradiators and low-temperature freezers, including specialised freezers for storing blood and plasma, as well as vaccines, which are now actively used for transporting medicines as part of vaccination measures against СОVID-19.
The TIHE exhibition has been held in the capital of Uzbekistan since 1995 and is a key event for the medical community of Uzbekistan. It is an authoritative professional platform, which demonstrates the latest world achievements in medicine and healthcare.
The Tashkent International Healthcare Exhibition is unique in terms of scale, the number of participants and visitors, and the number of brands represented. 18 June is the start of admission to KNITU-KAI for all levels and forms of education. This year, the university has organised several ways to submit documents:
1) Online application through a personal cabinet on https://abiturientu.kai.ru/
Registration allows the applicant to access the functions of the Admissions Office: online application, applicant’s rating, and much more. The applicant should go to the Admissions section, fill in the personal data and upload the required documents.
2) Through the Enrol Online service on the Integrated Portal of Public Services
For this, the applicant has to complete an electronic application on the portal: choose the university, indicate the subjects for which he/she passed Unified National Examination, upload copies of documents on education and individual achievements - and keep track of information in a personal cabinet.
3) In person at the Admissions Office
An applicant, with the necessary package of documents, may come to the Admissions Office (55 Bolshaya Krasnaya St.) and complete an application. The documents will be accepted according to all security measures and requirements of Rospotrebnadzor due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
KNRTU-KAI reminds that it is possible to apply online without waiting for the results of the Unified National Examination. It is enough to specify the subjects that you plan to take for admission. After all scores have been posted and appeals have been made, the UNE scores will be transmitted to the university automatically.
As a member of a Tatarstan delegation during the two-day visit to Uzbekistan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov had a meeting today with Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisher Sultanov.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to continue implementation of joint projects and areas of cooperation under development.
The day before, the Business Forum between Uzbekistan and Tatarstan was held.
