Ministry of Economic Development to rank regions on Labour Productivity

It is planned to create an annual rating of participating regions as part of the Labour Productivity national project. Such an initiative was presented by the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation during the plenary session of the 3rd Productivity 360 Federal Forum. According to Maksim Reshetnikov, it will allow to trace more effectively a course of implementation of the national project.

“I believe, the built-up system of the national project, the growing number of participants, the accumulated successful practices already allow us to launch our own rating of the regions that participate most actively and effectively in the measures of State support,” said Minister Reshetnikov.

The plenary session was attended by Nikolay Solomon, FСC Director General, Nikolay Lyubimov, Governor of the Ryazan Oblast, Robert Urazov, Director General of WorldSkills Russia, Masashi Ishida, Executive Vice-President of Toyota Motor branch in St. Petersburg, and Andrey Sanosyan, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.

As a reminder, the 3rd Productivity 360 Federal Forum took place in Nizhny Novgorod on June 15-16. The event was organised by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Federal Competence Centre in Labour Productivity (FCC). The forum was held with the support from the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
