The Kazan State-Owned Gunpowder Factory (KSGF) plans to create a new industrial park. The new complex will occupy over 81 hectares of industrial land and will create about 300 new jobs at the first stage.
The location of the industrial park within Kazan city limits can be called an advantageous factor determined by transport accessibility of the production site, availability of labour resources, highly developed scientific potential of Kazan (Kazan National Research Technological University, Kazan Federal University, and Butlerov Institute of Chemistry).
As of today, the Kazan State-Owned Gunpowder Factory has developed a Concept of Industrial Park at the factory’s vacant premises and a feasibility study of the project. The construction of the industrial park will be completed in 2024.
The advantage of the new industrial park is an opportunity for residents to locate production facilities on a site that meets high industrial and environmental safety requirements, the availability of all types of energy resources, and the ability to use the unique technology expertise of the KSGF.
The site of the Industrial Park at the Kazan State-Owned Gunpowder Factory will accommodate enterprises specialising in the production of fine chemicals, metal ware, high-tech equipment, and machinery.
