Today, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the Tatarstan Committee to Combat Illicit Trafficking in Industrial Products in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Committee was chaired by German Lerner, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan and attended by representatives of Tatarstan’s controlling authorities.
The meeting focused on measures to prevent the supply of inadequate quality products to educational, healthcare, and social service institutions in the republic and reviewed the results of the ongoing work on compulsory marking of goods with identification means.
As German Lerner noted, according to the official website of the unified national track & trace digital system Chestny ZNAK, around 10,000 participants from Tatarstan have registered in the marking system as of today.
He also reminded that from June 1, 2021 marking for ice cream (except for ice cream without milk fat and/or milk protein) and cheese was started. Since September 1, marking will be compulsory for other dairy products with expiry date over 40 days. From December 1 this year, for dairy products with a shelf life of less than 40 days.
