On 15 October 2013, within the working visit of the Tatarstan delegation headed by the republic’s President Rustam Minnikhanov to Germany, the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov made a tour of the plant for the development and production of high-tech aircraft engines of RED Aircraft Company.
During the visit, the presentation was made of the project for the RED A03/V12 diesel jet engine. RED Aircraft Company is considering the possibility of creating an engineering centre in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The working visit of Tatarstan delegation headed by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to the Federal Republic of Germany will take place on 15-17 October, 2013. The Tatarstan delegation comprises Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – the Minister of Industry and Trade, Rinat Sabirov, the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Zufar Abdulgaleev, Tatarstan trade and economic representative in the Czech Republic, the heads of ministries and agencies, as well as leading industrial enterprises and educational institutions of the republic. The aim of the working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany is to find out more about economic and investment potential of Federal lands, North Rhine Westfalia and Thuringia; to discuss the issues of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation development in the field of automotive components’ production, machine tool technology, petrochemicals, education, public health service and IT-field.
On 11 October 2013, the meeting concerning republic’s electrical energy sector development took place under the chairmanship of Tatarstan Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Khamza Bagmanov, top executives of republic’s energy facilities and Kazan State Power Engineering University.
The meeting heard the report of OOO KER-Engineering about the development of Scheme and Programme for Tatarstan Electric Energy Sector Development in 2013 with an Outlook until 2018. The Scheme and the Programme are developed each year in pursuance of the Federal Law No.35-FZ dated 26.03.2003 “On Electric Energy Sector” and the Resolution of the Russian Federation’s Government No.323 dated 17.10.2009 “On Schemes and Programmes of Electric Energy Sector Prospective Development”.
On 10 October 2013, the Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnara Akhmadeyeva chaired the meeting to discuss the progress in implementing the Project entitled “Naberezhnye Chelny as a City of Sustainable Development”. The project is being implemented within the consistent efforts applied by the city’s authorities for the introduction of Lean Production principles by municipal agencies, enterprises, and organisations of Naberezhnye Chelny.
On 9 October 2013, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Alexey Sukhov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Cheng Guoping held the first meeting of co-chairs of the Joint Working Group for the issues of developing the trade, economic, and humanitarian cooperation between the regions of the Volga Federal District and the Upper and Middle Yangtze provinces. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, representatives of the regions of the Volga Federal District and Chinese provinces, Foreign Ministries of Russia and China, as well as the State banking sectors of both countries.
On 10 to 11 October 2013, the delegation of the St. Petersburg Government headed by Chairman of the St. Petersburg Committee for Industrial Policy and Innovation Maxim Meyksin is on a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan. Within their visit to Tatarstan, the St. Petersburg delegation will study the experience of Tatarstan in the field of special economic zone "Alabuga", industrial parks, and business incubators, learn the current mechanisms for the formation and development of cluster policies, attraction of investment into the economy of the region. Guests will visit the Technopolis Himgrad, ZAO Danaflex Nano, and the IT Park.
On 7 October 2013, the World Trade Centre in Moscow hosted a Mercury Club meeting devoted to the “Problems of Interaction between Military Industry Complex and Russian Civil Industries”. The meeting was attended by Mercury Club President and Chairman of the Board Yevgeny Primakov, First Deputy Chairman of Military Industry Commission under the Russian Government Ivan Kharchenko, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexey Rakhmanov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, deputies of the Russian State Duma, representatives of business associations and leaders of the chambers of commerce in Russian regions, scientists, heads of leading defence companies, experts, and Mercury Club members. Participants of the Mercury Club meeting discussed the following issues: problems of interaction between defence and civil industries; organisation and mechanisms of implementing scientific and technological innovations between defence and civil sectors; problems of scientific research and production base; innovation processes as a crucial element of its modernisation; efficiency of technopolises and industrial parks in the design and development of defence programmes; importance of international expertise in the development and implementation of advanced technologies into the dual-use industrial production; and issues of training and skills honing of workers, engineers and technicians in the defence industry.
On 2 October 2013, Korston Hotel&Mall Kazan hosted the ceremonial celebration of the Mechanical Engineer’s Day with the participation of the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Within the framework of the Mechanical Engineer’s Day celebration, Ravil Zaripov announced a start of the Creative Working Young People Festival, the aim of which is to upgrade a status of a labour person and to elicit a potential of young workers.
On 2 October 2013, Korston Hotel&Mall Kazan will host the ceremonial celebration of the Mechanical Engineer’s Day with the participation of the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
The events of the ceremonial celebration of the Mechanical Engineer’s Day will be attended by heads of enterprises representing the republic’s mechanical engineering sector, members of staffs and long-service employees of machine building enterprises, as well as pupils and students.
On 1 October 2013, following the heart-warming tradition, the staff of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade paid their compliments to the long-service employees, who had been committing their knowledge and experience into the republic’s development.
Gulnara Akhmadeyeva, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, congratulated the guests on behalf of the Minister and the Ministry’s staff. Among those who gathered at the meeting were reputable workers of industry, trade and services sector of the Republic of Tatarstan.
