The delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, is currently on a working visit to Munich (FRG). Traditionally, the head of the Republic is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov.
Today, the Tatarstan President met with Chairman of Knorr-Bremse Heinz Thiele. Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Mr. Thiele for arranging the meeting and expressed appreciation for the long-term work of the corporation in Tatarstan. Knorr-Bremse KAMA has been operating in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny since 2007, manufacturing drum brakes, torque vibration dampers, air driers, and other products.
In addition, in the first half of the day, the Tatarstan delegation met with the executives of investment companies KGAL and Thunderbolt Partners, stockholder of Thunderbolt Partners and KGAL Francis Louvar, CEO of KGAL Gert Waltenbauer and partner of Thunderbolt Partners Tolga Tanis. During the meeting, the parties discussed the opportunities of cooperation in the territory of Tatarstan in the field of renewable energy sources.
Later, he met with the President and CEO of Linde AG, Aldo Belloni.
Recall that this summer TAIF signed a memorandum on strategic cooperation with Linde AG within the framework of the SPIEF.
KAMAZ went to a new pace of assembly: the daily figures are approaching 200 trucks, while the premieres of the year: KAMAZ-6580, -65801, -65802, -5325 are already in the general flow with the mass production vehicles.
The launch of a new prospective family to the market began with a heavy truck KAMAZ-5490, then KAMAZ-65206 appeared in a tri-axial version, and dump trucks -6520 and -65201 De Lux were also developed. Before corporate holidays, new models were assembled of the essentially revised heavy truck KAMAZ-6580 and its variants -65801, -65802. They are designed to work on construction sites and in quarries. “Now KAMAZ descends into the middle segment, between medium-tonnage and heavy trucks. The short-base KAMAZ-5325 chassis for garbage trucks and the long-base one for high-sided trucks and vans have already been assembled”, said Nail Zamaliev, Deputy Chief Technologist of the Automobile Plant.
In addition, a year ago it was decided to organise pilot assembly of new models at the Automobile Plant. According to Zamaliev, such a manner of work makes it possible to evaluate the total range of problems. When assembling a truck on a conveyor, design and engineering issues are also solved in parallel, immediately specifying the assembly cycle, defining bottlenecks, and identifying the need to introduce new devices. In general, the time for working out all the tasks arising during the introduction of novelties was significantly reduced.
Based on the results of monitoring the pricing (tariff) situation in the wholesale and retail electricity markets in Tatarstan, jointly with the NP Market Council Association, the Russian Ministry of Energy informs of the following.
The change in prices (tariffs) for electricity for consumers that are not related to the population or equal categories of consumers (further, “other consumers”) is expected in July 2017 in the weighted-average single-rate terms by consumer groups and voltage levels of about +11.1% as compared to June 2017.
At the same time, the Ministry of Energy of Russia notes that the change in the average-weighted unregulated price for electricity in single-rate terms in total for the price zones of the wholesale market in the first half of 2017 compared to the same period in 2016 was about +8.5%, or 0.5 percentage points below the parameters taken into account in the scenario of the socio-economic development forecast for the Russian Federation in 2017 in terms of this indicator (9.0%).
According to forecasts conducted by the Russian Ministry of Energy jointly with the NP Market Council Association, the change in prices (tariffs) for electricity for “other consumers” in Tatarstan will not exceed +1.6% on average by year end.
Annually, in the autumn-winter period there is an increase in the incidence of influenza and acute viral respiratory infections (further, ARVI), which account for 95% of all infectious diseases. Each year globally, the flu takes up to 500 thousand lives, every tenth adult and every third child gets sick, and every seventh patient suffers from serious complications.
Under current conditions, the most effective and economically justified measure of protection against influenza is vaccine prevention. The use of vaccination against influenza reduces the incidence rate, helps mitigate the severity of the disease, and prevents the development of severe complications and deaths.
Vaccination of 70-80% of members of any group reduces the incidence of influenza in this group to single cases or even completely excludes it, and immunisation of 40% of the population in the territory excludes epidemics.
Vaccination against influenza is seasonal: it is best to do this in September-October, so that by the beginning of an epidemic in December and January an effective immune defence has already been developed.

Today, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the launching ceremony of the Drylock Technology (Belgium) plant for sanitary and hygienic products in the SEZ Alabuga. The event was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov. According to company’s CEO Bart Van Malderen, investment in the project amounted to over EUR 40 million. The total production capacity should be 3 to 3.5 billion diapers. As Mr. Malderen pointed out, the project can pay off in 5 years.
The Tatarstan President thanked the company’s CEO for choosing the SEZ Alabuga as a site for placing its production facilities.
It should be noted that this is not the first plant in Russia. Such production facilities are located already in Nizhny Novgorod. By putting the plant into service in the SEZ Alabuga, investors plan to meet the region's need for sanitary and hygienic products. The company is engaged in the production of absorbent underwear and hygiene products for women, children and low-mobility groups, such as diapers, draw sheets and special products for people with urological diseases.
The company became a resident of the SEZ in 2013; the construction of the plant was frozen in 2014. In 2015, the investor decided to continue the project.
