Based on the results of monitoring the pricing (tariff) situation in the wholesale and retail electricity markets in Tatarstan, jointly with the NP Market Council Association, the Russian Ministry of Energy informs of the following.
The change in prices (tariffs) for electricity for consumers that are not related to the population or equal categories of consumers (further, “other consumers”) is expected in July 2017 in the weighted-average single-rate terms by consumer groups and voltage levels of about +11.1% as compared to June 2017.
At the same time, the Ministry of Energy of Russia notes that the change in the average-weighted unregulated price for electricity in single-rate terms in total for the price zones of the wholesale market in the first half of 2017 compared to the same period in 2016 was about +8.5%, or 0.5 percentage points below the parameters taken into account in the scenario of the socio-economic development forecast for the Russian Federation in 2017 in terms of this indicator (9.0%).
According to forecasts conducted by the Russian Ministry of Energy jointly with the NP Market Council Association, the change in prices (tariffs) for electricity for “other consumers” in Tatarstan will not exceed +1.6% on average by year end.
