International Anti-Counterfeiting Forum 2017 started

Today on September 14, the 5th International Anti-Counterfeiting Forum 2017, dedicated to the problems of combating the illegal circulation of industrial products and ensuring the protection of intellectual property rights, began its work in the Ala-Archa State Residence in Bishkek. The forum is organised by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the International Anti-Counterfeiting Association.

The Anti-Counterfeiting Forum has already become the central discussion platform within the framework of the EurAsEC, where representatives of ministries and agencies, large companies and organisations, leading international experts in this field, representatives of scientific community and the public have a good opportunity to discuss the problems of protecting markets from illicit trafficking in industrial products, including counterfeit and fake ones, ensuring the protection of intellectual property rights, as well as to enter into a constructive dialogue and develop joint solutions to form a civilised market of goods and services.

Within the framework of the forum, its participants will also consider issues of customs, technical regulation and certification, human resources development, harmonisation of the legislation in the EurAsEC member states in the sphere of illegal trafficking of industrial products, protection of intellectual property rights, and the consumer market.
