Kazan Helicopters company (part of Rostec Corporation) has received permission from the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) to use the Ansat helicopter simulator for Russian civil aviation pilots.

The simulator is authorised by Rosaviatsiya to conduct training on the aircraft type, periodic training of professional skills of Ansat helicopter flight crews.

In 2020, the Kazan Helicopters received a conclusion from the Centre for Expertise and Certification of Aviation Equipment under the N.E. Zhukovsky Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI) that the Ansat helicopter simulator meets all international standards.

The Ansat helicopter’s integrated simulator is equipped with a visualisation system that provides a full view from the pilot’s seat. With its help, two flight areas are reproduced: Kazan, including the flight-test facility of the Kazan Helicopters, as well as Sochi. A vibraphone and audio system help reproduce the vibration and acoustic effects of the flight. Using the simulator, trainee pilots will be able to practise in various conditions, including dangerous and emergency situations.

Development and manufacture of the Ansat simulator was carried out in accordance with the investment project “Concept for the Development of the Kazan Helicopters Aviation Training Centre under the Russian Helicopters Holding”.
