On April 25, the territory of Kazankompressormash saw the opening ceremony of the Youth Alley. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Denis Valeyev and representatives of municipal and republic’s authorities of Tatarstan.

The honorary guests, together with the management and young employees of Kazankompressormash, planted 5 firs and 25 pines on the Alley, and also visited the production facilities, the factory museum, and met with the members of the company’s Youth Council.

The event was held within the framework of the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces in Tatarstan, approved by the Decree of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, and it became a decent continuation of a good tradition: in 2006, the Square of Veterans was opened in the territory of the company with the participation of Rustam Minnikhanov.

The millionth tonne of halobutyl rubber (HBR) has been produced at the Butyl Rubber Plant of Nizhnekamskneftekhim.

Construction of the Russia’s first HBR production facility started in the company in 2001, the industrial production was mastered in 2004: on March 13, the first briquette of chlorobutyl rubber was obtained, on May 15, the bromine unit was launched, and on May 28, the first bromobutyl rubber briquette was produced.

The initial production capacity was 30,000 tonnes a year. As a result of reconstructions carried out over the past years, the facility has reached an annual output of 136,000 tonnes of HBR by 2016. About 97% of produced halobutyl rubbers are exported.

The International Business Forum of Property “Russia for Investors, Investors for Russia” (IBFP) will take place at the World Trade Centre in Moscow on June 20-22, 2017.

Keel of “Grad”, a small missile ship of project 21631, was laid today during a ceremony at the Zelenodolsk Shipyard n. a. Gorky.

The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Rogozin, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, and others.

In his speech, Dmitry Rogozin noted that three years ago, when the Crimea returned to Russia, the task was to raise the industry of that republic, and the Zelenodolsk Shipyard helped the Crimea rebuild its industry.

Today, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan held a Polymer Day dedicated to the localisation of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for the production of vehicle fuel tanks.

The event was attended by polymer producers such as Nizhnekamskneftekhim, Kazanorgsintez, and manufacturers of automotive components such as DIPO, YPP Rus Automobile Systems, as well as leading automakers such as KAMAZ, AvtoVAZ-Renault-Nissan Alliance, SP Ford Sollers, UAZ, and GAZ Group.

In his speech, First Vice President and Executive Director of Ford Sollers Adil Shirinov stressed the need to unite efforts in the issue of localising materials for fuel tanks based on the brands of Kazanorgsintez. In turn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov noted the importance of state support in the implementation of such projects.

In addition, representatives of the automotive industry spoke about the strategies of their companies, the work done to date, and further plans for the localisation of polymers.

At the end of the meeting, the participants decided to create a working group with the aim of establishing practices for localising this grade of polyethylene.

More than 150 people from among schoolchildren, students, and teachers of Tatarstan’s educational institutions visited POZIS Company, part of the Machine Engineering Technologies Holding (Tecmash) of the Rostec Corporation, within the framework of the nationwide “No-Turnstile Week” campaign. The company's guests learned how Tatarstan refrigerators are made from the moment of their development to the release of the product from the main conveyor.

All in all, from April 18 to April 21, the enterprise was visited by representatives of seven educational institutions of Kazan and Zelenodolsk Municipality. These were students from the Tupolev Kazan National Research Technical University, as well as Zelenodolsk schoolchildren from Lyceum No. 14, Lyceum No. 9, Gymnasium No. 10, and Aisha Secondary School.

“No-Turnstile Week” is an all-Russian campaign being held under the auspices of the Russian Union of Machine Builders from July 2015 within the federal occupational guidance project entitled “Working in Russia”. It unites various corporate initiatives and youth policy events aimed at increasing the prestige of blue-collar and white-collar jobs, training specialists needed for today’s industrial enterprises, and attracting and retaining talented young people in the organisational industrial environment.

From April 20 to 22, the Consumer Cooperatives Forum of the Central Union of the Consumer Societies of the Russian Federation is being held in Kazan.

The Forum is aimed at discussing the prospects for the development of cooperative movement and the demonstration of existing achievements. Representatives of 70 Russian regions take part in the Forum.

The Forum is attended by Chairman of the Centrosoyuz Council Dmitry Zubov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Foods Marat Akhmetov, Ulyanovsk Oblast Governor Sergey Morozov, Chairman of the Tatarstan Union of Consumer Cooperation Organisations (Tatpotrebsoyuz) Makhmut Fattakhov, top officials of the Department for Development of Domestic Trade, Light Industry, and Legalisation of Product Turnover under the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Evgeny Ryzhov and Nikita Kuznetsov, representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, and others.

During the Forum, an agreement was signed between the Central Union of the Consumer Societies of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tatarstan Union of Consumer Cooperation Organisations on social and economic cooperation in 2017-2021.

On April 21, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan hosted a regular meeting of the Tatarstan Headquarters for Ensuring Power Supply Security chaired by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Aleksey Sergeyev. The event was attended by representatives of the Grid Company, TGC-16, Tatenergo, Tatenergosbyt, Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Kazan, the Tatarstan Regional Dispatching Office of the Unified Energy System, and the Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing.

During the event, the participants discussed the appointment of the Main Power Engineer at the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017 in Tatarstan in accordance with the Regulations for the Power Supply Management at Facilities of the World Cup 2018 and the Confederations Cup 2017, the organisation of preparing, holding and summarising the joint exercises of the Tatarstan’s power companies in preparations for the holding of Confederations Cup 2017 in Kazan, the supplements to the Action Plan for Power Infrastructure Preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2018, the improvement of payment history and debt retirement for the supplied energy commodities, as well as the arrangement of reliable power supply at the Unified National Exam sites.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Almaz Khusainov is taking part these days in the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum. Today, the second and main day of the Forum began.

The main KEF event of today will be a plenary session dubbed “The Russian Economy: Agenda 2017-2015”. Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, Board Chairman of the Centre for Strategic Research Alexey Kudrin, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin, and Krasnoyarsk Governor Viktor Tolokonsky will address the audience during the session, along with prominent Russian businessmen, economists, and politicians.

In addition, the second day of the Forum will be the busiest one for meetings, discussions, and dialogues. This day’s agenda includes more than 20 round tables, brainstorming meetings, sessions, and discussions. It is expected that over 20 cooperation agreements will be signed within the framework of the KEF between state authorities, municipalities, and industrial enterprises.

The Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum is held on April 20 to April 22 with the support from the Government of the Russian Federation.

Spearheaded by the Neolant Group, the Multidimensional Kazan 2017 regional session (as part of the Multidimensional Cities of Russia Forum) will be held on May 31 on the premises of the Kazan National Research Technology University, which will be devoted to the latest approaches to the creation of new industrial and infrastructure facilities and management of existing ones based on engineering data management systems and information modelling technologies for the life cycle of an asset managed.

The Multidimensional Cities of Russia Forum is intended to popularise methodologies and tools for informational modelling of industrial and infrastructure assets and territories for tracking their life cycle (LC) from design to disposal.

The Forum is aimed at enterprises and organisations interested in improving the efficiency of operation, reconstruction, renewal, re-equipment, construction, and design of industrial and infrastructure assets and territories.

The technology partners of the Forum are leading international and Russian companies in the field of developing information modelling solutions and providing information modelling services: Autodesk, Bentley Systems, IBCON, Intergraph, PMSOFT Group, and Concurator.
