In April 2021, as part of the Labour Productivity national project, Techno Trans closed the implementation phase of the improvements and assessed the pilot stream for compliance with the requirements of the sample flow.
All project targets have been achieved in full, and the sample flow meets the established criteria. The office running time was reduced by 25%, the rate of truck usage in the Euro Trailer flow for long-distance transportation was increased by 20%, while the output was increased by 15%. An economic effect of over RUB 16 million was obtained.
In addition to the targets achieved, a reference site was established at which tools such as production analysis of the waybill and consignment note processing were implemented, workstations were organised based on the 5S principle, work on critical operations was standardised, and the method of structured problem solving based on the 8D tool was introduced.
In the course of the project, the company trained internal trainers who are able to independently replicate the project results in other company flows.
The project outcomes are the results of comprehensive implementation and use of Lean Production techniques. One of such tools is the implemented information centre of the company, which reflects all key performance indicators in the areas of safety, quality, order fulfilment, costs, and corporate culture.
