In July, KAMAZ will host a competition of professional skills among truck drivers working in the company's divisions and organisations.

The event is intended for KAMAZ employees engaged in cargo transportation and having a driving license category C. The KAMAZ Cup competition has been held for a number of years and is aimed to assist in raising the level of professional skills of heavy-duty vehicle drivers, to remind, once again, about the importance of road safety issues, and to enhance the prestige of this profession.

The competition programme provides one theoretical and three practical stages. All stages take into account the time and correctness of fulfilling a task; each mistake will result in penalty points. Only a certain number of participants who have demonstrated the best results will be qualified for each subsequent stage. As a result, only three drivers will start the last practical task and go for the prizes.

The results of the competition will be summed up by a panel of judges headed by the chief judge. The winners of the first, second, and third places will be identified in the individual competition. In addition, the Best Young Driver will be named, which will be chosen from among the participants under the age of 25. All the winners of the professional master competition will receive valuable prizes.
