Enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan are invited to participate in the International Multi-Sector Trade Fair titled “Czech Republic Business Expo 2017” to be held from September 12 to 14, 2017 in the city of Olomouc (Czech Republic). The organiser is the Czech Republic Product, which promotes Czech products, technologies, and services on the world market.
The fair will cover such areas as electronics, cybernetics, IT products, energy, construction, healthcare, engineering, food processing, agriculture, transport, and tourism. This event it also expected to comprise thematic one-day conferences on exports, international trade, tourism, and scientific research. It is planned to hold presentations of trade and investment opportunities of individual countries. The main programme will also include lectures and experts’ seminars on a wide range of issues. According to the organisers, representatives from 60 countries will take part in the fair.

The TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex in Nizhnekamsk started commissioning procedures at the hydrogen production unit.
The facility is designed to produce hydrogen from natural gas with preliminary feedstock hydrogenation (hydrotreatment). Estimated capacity for hydrogen product (with 99.9% vol. purity) is 30,000 normal cubic metres per hour or 22,000 tonnes per year.
Hydrogen obtained from the additional unit will be used to cover the process requirements of TANECO: either to provide for operation of the heavy coker gasoil hydrotreatment unit (for the full-swing deployment of the TANECO Complex), or for the product delivery to the factory’s hydrogen header.

The main industrial exhibition, Innoprom-2017, has started today in the Urals capital. The Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is taking an active part in it. The delegation included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, Aide to the Tatarstan President Albert Nafigin, Permanent Representative of Tatarstan in the Sverdlovsk Region Rinat Sadriev, and others.
Over 500 Russian and foreign companies take part annually in Innoprom, the Russia’s largest general-purpose industrial exhibition. The partner country at Innoprom 2017 is Japan.
Tatarstan also has its exhibition area at Innoprom 2017. A special stand provides information on the economy of the republic, its industrial structure and output, key industries, leading companies in Tatarstan (Tatneft, TAIF, Kazan Helicopters, KAMAZ, etc.).
In addition, the 2017 Exhibition is expected to host 40 official delegations from Japan, Belarus, Czech Republic, China, Germany, and others. They will not only see the display, but also attend business events within the Innoprom comprising more than 150 strategic sessions, plenary talks, forums, dialogues, and meetings.
The POZIS Company supplied a batch of medical equipment for the needs of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Health. The company shipped 200 pharmaceutical refrigerators of the HF-250-3 POZIS model.
The HF-250-3 pharmaceutical refrigerators manufactured by POZIS are intended for storage of medical products, vaccines, reagents, and biological preparations in the premises of pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, research institutions and other health establishments. Following the results of 2016, this POZIS model became the best seller in the segment of glass-door pharmaceutical refrigerators.
The company produces 62 models of pharmaceutical refrigerators, specialised medical refrigerating and freezing devices for storage of biological products. In the production of its medical equipment, POZIS employs all necessary technical solutions to meet the current requirements of the Cold Chain and GMP standards.
Since 2015, the entire range of POZIS refrigerators has been manufactured using ozone-friendly technologies, as required by the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer. In the course of the International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom 2017 to be held on July 10-13 in Yekaterinburg, Tatarstan will present its “Made in Tatarstan” project, an informational Internet portal dedicated to the industrial potential and key enterprises of the republic.
The event will be attended by representatives of Tatarstan’s ministries and agencies, as well as major enterprises such as KAMAZ, Tatneft, ICL KME CS, and others.
At the moment, the website features eight industries and 70 enterprises. The mission of the project is to promote products manufactured by the republic’s companies in foreign markets.
In addition to the guests from Tatarstan, the event will be attended by leading domestic and foreign companies presenting the latest technologies, innovative projects, and developments in various industries. An important part of the event will be a business forum, which includes plenary sessions, round table discussions, business meetings, negotiations, presentations, and master classes with leading experts, well-known businessmen and scientists, politicians, representatives of big business, and interested investors from Russia and other countries.
In addition, Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to visit this year’s Innoprom exhibition in Yekaterinburg for the first time.
A comprehensive compliance audit has been completed at the Kastamonu woodworking company in the SEZ Alabuga. Based on the audit results, the company was given the highest rating and assigned category A, “The Reliable Supplier”.
The audit was conducted by experts of TMS RUS, the exclusive representative of the German Group TÜV SÜD in EEU, and was initiated by Leroy Merlin (France).
The audit verified the company's compliance with such international standards as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, availability of regulatory documents, conditions of incoming, intermediate, and final quality control of products, storage conditions, warehousing rules, availability of product conformity and quality management system certificates.
Compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001 indicates a certain level of supplier’s reliability and responsibility of the company in relation to consumers of its products, partners, suppliers, and the company’s employees. The ISO 14001 standard is responsible for setting up the environmental management system at the enterprise. OHSAS 18001 is a standard that contains requirements and guidelines for the development and implementation of occupational health and safety management systems.
On July 6, a Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Boeing Design Centre in Moscow. Traditionally, the head of the region was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov.
During the visit, the representatives of Tatarstan were introduced to the activities of the company. The guests were told about the engineering disciplines of the centre, demonstrated training classes, and presented programmes for training employees and improving their skills.
The company's expertise in implementing lean manufacture and involving personnel were presented in more detail, alongside with the quality management system.
In addition, Rustam Minnikhanov and accompanying persons gained insights into the work of the Boeing Aviation Training and Research Centre located at Skolkovo.
Starting from 2017, the Tatarstan Government Quality Award will be integrated into the Russian Government Quality Award. The harmonisation of procedures and the conduct of a general audit will make it easier for the Republic's organisations to win the Award, and facilitate joining the federal commission for republic’s experts.
The Government Quality Award is an effective tool that stimulates enterprises to improve the organisation of their management and production procedures, increase competitiveness, and introduce new technologies and innovations.
In the period ended July 14, an on-site audit is underway at the organisations that have passed the documentary assessment; an analysis is also being conducted on conformity of the organisation's activities with the so-called “perfect model”.
The “perfect organisation model” incorporates many parameters, among which are operational evidences and results of quality management systems, strategic and social management, innovation, finance, and personnel management.
Based on the results of the on-site audit, Roskachestvo will prepare proposals on the nominees and winners of the competition for the final decision by the Russian Government Quality Award Council headed by Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
Tomorrow on July 7, the Red Square in Moscow will saw the start ceremony of the Silk Way Rally 2017. Among the other participants, four crews of the KAMAZ-Master team will compete for the victory.
The seventh Silk Way Rally will be held as a transcontinental marathon across the territories of Russia, Kazakhstan, and China. This amazing journey consisting of 14 legs will come to the end on July 22. The route will pass from west to east: from Red Square in Moscow, through Astana and Semey, along Turkestan-Siberian Railway, up to the Gobi Desert, and finishes in one of the ancient capitals of China, the city of Xi’an. The total distance of the race is 9607 kilometres; the total distance of the special stages is 4088 kilometres.
The Silk Way Rally was first conducted in 2009. Today, it is a globally recognised sporting event of the highest complexity rating, which draws the attention of the best racers and teams of the world. The task of each crew consisting, as a rule, of a pilot and a co-pilot (in truck crews, also a mechanic, and for motorcycles, only a pilot) is to complete high-speed sections (also called special stages) in the shortest time along the route described in a road book, while observing the control points. The winner of the race is determined by the minimum amount of time on the special stages of all legs of the rally.
The municipal public catering establishments of the republic are conducting the campaign dubbed “The Days of National Cuisine of Ethnic Groups Living in Tatarstan”, spearheaded by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan. The mission of the project is to improve the quality of services in the field of public catering, preserve culinary traditions, and strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between various ethnic groups living in Tatarstan.
Following the results of the campaign, the contest commissions of the republic’s municipalities will identify the best teams of catering establishments to be awarded with certificates of merit from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.
