The theme of the Russian’s bid is “Changing the World: Innovations and Better Life for Future Generations”.
The decision on what country will host the World Expo 2025 will be taken by secret ballot at the 164th General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) in November 2018.
Under the order of the Russian Government, the Organising Committee for Support of the Yekaterinburg Bid was established and headed by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Arkady Dvorkovich, as well as the Expo 2025 Bid Committee chaired by Svetlana Sagaidak.
