Kazan hosted 7th extended meeting of Entrepreneurship Council under Tatarstan President

Today, the seventh expanded meeting of the Entrepreneurship Council under the Tatarstan President was held at the Pyramid Cultural and Entertainment Complex in Kazan. The event was attended by about 280 invited entrepreneurs, as well as deputies of the Tatarstan State Council, heads of ministries and agencies, and journalists – all in all over 400 people.

During the meeting, presentations were made by the Council project groups, including such topics as the minimisation of risks in preparing a declaration of conformity for products, the procedures for paying pollution fees, elaboration of the procedures for handling complaints by housing supervision authorities, arrangement of the safe transportation of children, specification of requirements for re-registration of waste management licenses, optimisation of requirements for business environmental reporting, etc.

Using project approach in tackling systemic entrepreneurial problems, lowering administrative barriers for businesses, and creating optimal conditions – these are the priority tasks identified by the Russian President. Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stressed that the regions should create a comfortable environment for entrepreneurship development, improve the business climate by applying a systemic approach.
