On 10 June 2013, the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired a meeting in Nizhnekamsk dedicated to the development of transportation infrastructure of Kama Area Innovation Production Cluster and railway infrastructure adjoining the Special Economic Zone Alabuga.
The meeting was attended by Sergey Solozhenkin, Head of Kuibyshev Railway (branch of OAO Russian Railways); Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade; heads of republic’s ministries and agencies; and heads of municipalities and industrial enterprises, members of Kama Area Innovation Production Cluster.
The meeting dealt with the issues of implementing the project on increasing the Cluster’s railway tonnage capacity and on arranging the interaction between freight shippers of Kama Area Innovation Production Cluster and Kuibyshev Railway.
On 10 June 2013, the Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnara Akhmadeyeva granted an interview to 7 Days Programme (TNV Channel) on implementing the targeted programme for the increase in labour efficiency at mechanical engineering and petrochemical enterprises and on developing relevant in-house programmes by the republic’s industrial enterprises.
The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin set a target to increase the labour efficiency by half by 2018 compared to 2011 indicators.
For this purpose, the republic has adopted the Targeted Programme entitled “The Increase in Labour Efficiency at Mechanical Engineering and Petrochemical Enterprises for 2013-2016”. The implementation of this Programme is expected to increase the labour efficiency at mechanical engineering enterprises by 1.7 times and to double this indicator at petrochemical enterprises.
On 9 June 2013, the Bobur Park (Tashkent) hosted the celebration of Sabantui Holiday that brought together about 40,000 people. The visitors of the celebration ceremony were welcomed by Vladimir Tyurdenev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan; Nasriddin Mukhammadiyev, Director of the Republic’s International Culture Centre of Uzbekistan; Major-General Akhat Yulashev, Chairman of the Committee of the Public Organisation of Veterans of War and Military Service of the Republic of Tatarstan; Ruslan Kabirov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan; Ramil Shakirov, Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in Uzbekistan; Rishat Nabiullin, Chairman of the Tatar Public Cultural and Enlightenment Centre; Ilshat Khasanov, Chairman of the Bashkir National Cultural Centre; and Rim Giniyatullin, Chairman of the Councils of Elders of the Tatar and Bashkir Diasporas in Tashkent.
On 9 June 2013, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov attended the celebration of Sabantuy in Aznakayevsky Municipal District.
Ravil Zaripov welcomed the visitors of Sabantuy celebration and wished them happiness, health, and well-being.
On 8 June 2013, during his working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia’s Defence Minister, General of the Army Sergey Shoygu visited OAO KamAZ. Sergey Shoygu was accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, and top executives of KamAZ to make a tour of the Plant’s production departments, KamAZ Science and Technology Centre, and the building of auxiliary workshops.
On 6 June2013, within the 12th Meeting between heads of foreign intelligence services, security bodies, and law enforcement authorities cooperating with the Russian Federal Security Service, Kazan Equestrian Sports Complex hosted the Exhibition organised by the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade with the participation of enterprises representing the republic’s defence industry sector.
The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director of the Russian Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov attended the tour of the Exhibition.
On 6 June 2013, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov held a meeting regarding the issues of constructing generating facilities in the territory of Tatarstan. The meeting was attended by General Director of OAO Generiruyuschaya Kompaniya Rauzil Khaziyev, heads of departments from the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, and top executives of OAO Generiruyuschaya Kompaniya.
On 5 June 2013, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister Gulnara Akhmadeeva and Professor Peter Hoberger (Hannover, Germany). During the meeting, parties shared the experience on implementing the lean production technologies. Deputy Minister Gulnara Akhmadeeva informed about the progress and prospects of implementing the lean production technologies in the Republic of Tatarstan at enterprises and organisations in various industries, reported about the results of the 7th International Lean Conference held in March in Naberezhnye Chelny, spoke about the cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in disseminating the experience of the Republic of Tatarstan on enterprises of other regions of Russia.
On 5 May 2013, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry of Trade Ravil Zaripov participated in the teleconference of the Defence Industry Committee under the Government of the Russian Federation, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitriy Rogozin. The videoconference meeting dealt with the issues of improving the vocational education system for employees of the defence industry enterprises.
On 3 June 2013, the meeting held between the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and top executives of Turkey-based Şişecam Company dealt with the issues of expanding the Company’s projects in the territory of the Special Economic Zone Alabuga. The meeting was attended by Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade; Radik Gimatdinov, Aide to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan; Timur Shigavaleyev, General Director of SEZ Alabuga; representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing; and other officials.
