On 3 June 2013, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Gulnara Akhmadeyeva and top executives from ABADA Research and Development Centre. The meeting dealt with the issues of applying the advanced global and national expertise in organising the personnel reserve at the republic’s industrial enterprises and in assessing and developing the workforce capacity of the applicants.
On 3 June 2013, the Kazan City Hall hosted the roundtable discussions of the G20 energy regulators entitled “Efficient Regulation and Promotion of Investment in the Energy Infrastructure”. The meeting was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan President; Sergey Novikov, Head of the Federal Tariff Service; Ksenia Yudaeva, Chief of the Presidential Experts Directorate, Russian G20 Sherpa; Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade; as well as representatives of the energy regulators of G20 member countries (Argentina, Brazil, China, Mexico, South Africa, Turkey, Great Britain, and USA) and energy regulation associations.
The meeting includes the discussion of the Statement on Efficient Regulation and Promotion of Investment in Energy Infrastructure issued by the energy regulators.

On 31 May 2013, during the short visit of the Gambian President Yahya Jammeh to the Republic of Tatarstan, he met with Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov. The meeting took place in the Kazan International Airport and was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov. First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ruslan Kabirov made a brief presentation on the economic potential of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On 1 June 2013, the Tatarstan delegation headed by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is on the working trip to the Republic of Turkey (Eskisehir). The Tatarstan delegation comprises the Aide to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on International and Foreign Economic Issues Radik Gimatdinov, Minister of Culture Ayrat  Sibagatullin, Chief Executive of the Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ruslan Kabirov, Special Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in Turkey Gashigullin Aydar, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shamil Ageev, representatives of the  Institute Of Philology And Arts of the KFU. Within the programme of the working trip, Tatarstan delegation will participate in the Opening Ceremony of the Centre of Tatar Culture in Eskisehir, will visit the Eskisehir Trade Chamber and Eskisehir Industrial Zone, Sarar factory.
On 31 May 2013, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with executive committees of the republic’s municipalities are holding the event “Nonsmoking Tatarstan” among public catering enterprises.
The mission of the event is to promote the healthy way of life among the Tatarstan residents and to undertake efficient measures to reduce the smoking in public places.
Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade in cooperation with leading machine building enterprises, Ministry of Education and Science and Republic Agency for Press and Mass Communications is holding a media tours of the industrial enterprises with the participation of school students within a framework of the Interagency Working Group for promoting the white-collar and blue-collar jobs and development of the children’s techno art. So, in late May 2013 OAO Kazan Helicopters, a member of the company Russian Helicopters Holding, opened its doors for students of the Chkalov Children’s Techno Art Centre considering the children's techno art as one of the most important aspects of educating a new generation of future engineers and designers.

On 30 May 2013, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Institute of Cooperative Business to meet with its leadership, professors, and students. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnara Akhmadeyeva, top executives of the republic’s ministries, agencies, and educational establishments.
In 2013, the Institute celebrates its 25th Anniversary. Established in the late Soviet time of 1980s, the Institute today, as a branch of the Russian University of Cooperation, is one of the republic’s leading sectoral educational establishments.
On 29 May to 8 June 2013, the experts committee organised by the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with the Centre for Standardisation, Metrology, and Testing “Tatarstan” and Certification and Methodology Centre “Test-Tatarstan” within the republic’s “The Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan” Contest, is estimating the quality and competitive strength of products manufactured and services rendered in Tatarstan. 
The winners of the Contest will take part in the federal stage of the “100 Best Goods of Russia” Contest.

By 2016, the manpower efficiency in chemical and petrochemical companies of the region will double. Steady development of the petrochemical industry and competitive growth of the products in this sector are among the main priorities in the industrial policies of the Tatarstan Government. Today, chemical and petrochemical enterprises provide 12% of the balanced profits in the region. In monetary terms, it is more than 28 billion Roubles. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov granted an interview to the reporter of the “Rossiyskaya Gazeta" newspaper on how the petrochemical industry is progressing.

On 28 May 2013, the delegation of the Astrakhan Region headed by the Vice Governor- Prime Minister of the Astrakhan Region Konstantin Markelov conducted a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan. The government delegation of the Astrakhan Region is accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov. The Astrakhan delegation included Sergey Krzhanovskiy, Minister of Industry, Transport and Natural Resources, Elina Polyanskaya, Minister of the Economic Development and Konstantin Marisov, First Deputy Minister of Industry, Transport and Natural Resources. Within their agenda, the delegation of the Astrakhan Region made a tour of Special Economic Zone Alabuga, OAO “PO ELAZ”, and Gorky Zelenodolsk Plant.
