On 22 November 2013, within the framework of their working trip to Moscow, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov participated in the All-Russian meeting dedicated to the issues of energy performance in regions: follow-up and propagation of proven expertise in the field. The meeting chaired by Russian Regional Development Minister Igor Slyunyaev took place within the framework of the 2nd International Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation Forum ENES 2013.
The All-Russian meeting dedicated to energy performance in regions was attended by Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Anton Inyutsyn, Tambov Region Governor Oleg Betin, Head of Department for Budget Policies in the Sphere of Innovation, Civil Industry, Energy, Communications and Public-Private Partnership Sergey Nagovitsin, and other officials.
From 21 to 23 November 2013, the Tatarstan delegation composed of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Khamza Bagmanov, representatives of ministries, agencies, enterprises, organisations and institutions of the republic participate in the programme of the 2nd International Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation Forum ENES 2013 (Moscow).
The following issues are dealt with in the course of the round table discussion:
·The need in investment and improvement of energy efficiency, bottleneck factors in the implementation of energy efficiency projects.
·Feasible models of extra-budgetary funding: international expertise, regional experience and practice in other sectors of the economy.
·Suggestions on more active state policies in extra-budgetary fund-raising.
On 20 November 2013, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov participated in the ceremony of celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Institute of Light industry, Fashion and Design. Rashat Fattakhov awarded a certificate of merit and a letter of gratitude signed by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov to the Director of Institute of Light industry, Fashion and Design and Vice-Principal for Educational and Social Work of the Kazan National Research Technological University Lyudmila Abutalipova.
On 20 to 21 November 2013, within the framework of the annual Days of Quality in Tatarstan, Naberezhnye Chelny hosted the Interregional conference entitled “Quality as Foundation of Competitiveness in Modern Automotive Industry” organised by Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with OAO KAMAZ and NP Volga Centre for Quality.
On 20 November 2013, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and Russian Organisation for Quality signed the Cooperation Agreement to hold the collaborative work on the implementation of “The Programme on Enhancing the Competitiveness of Tatarstan Organisations Based on Introduction of the Self-Appraisal Methods under Criteria of the EFQM Excellence Model”.
On 20 November 2013, ZAO Integrated Energy Systems and OAO Generating Company signed the Memorandum of Intents in the presence of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov in the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers. The signatories of the document were Director General of Integrated Energy Systems Boris Vainzikher and Director General of Generating Company Rauzil Khaziev.
On 20 November 2013, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov attended the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Siemens Russia and Central Asia and Vice President of Siemens AG Dietrich Moeller.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov informed the participants of the meeting about the work within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between Tatarstan and Siemens signed in 2012.
In the course of the meeting, the parties signed the Cooperation Agreement between Siemens and Kazan Power Engineering University.
On 20 November 2013, Kazan hosts Russian-Turkish Public Forum. The main goals of the meeting are to develop public relations and mutual understanding between the two countries in the areas of culture and art, education and science, mass media, business climate, tourism, inter-faith dialogue, law matters, etc.
The opening ceremony of the Forum was attended by Head of Rossotrudnichestvo and Chairman of the Forum’s Russian Board Konstantin Kosachev, Chairman of Foreign Affairs Commission under the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and Chairman of the Forum’s Turkish Board Volkan Bozkir, Special Representative of the Russian President for international cultural cooperation Michael Shvydkoj, and Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.
On 20 November 2013, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov took part in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Konstantin Kosachev and Chairman of Foreign Affairs Commission under the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Volkan Bozkir.
Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Konstantin Kosachev said that “one of the main goals of the Forum is to create some kind of a platform for civil society leaders of the two countries, because we need to know the latest trends in the society”.
