On 1 December 2013, The Gorky Culture Centre in Zelenodolsk hosted the gala concert of the regional stage prize winners of the Republic’s TV Working Youth Creativity Festival with the participation of Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnara Akhmadeyeva, Tatarstan Honoured Artist and Soloist of the Tukai Tatar State Philharmonic Society Rezeda Galimova, and Head of Sozvezdie-Yoldyzlyk Regional Youth Social Organisation Aydar Gainutdinov.
In the course of the gala concert and within the awarding ceremony, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnara Akhmadeyeva delivered the certificates and special jury awards to the prize winners of Working Youth Creativity Festival.
The final stage of the Festival will take place on 10 to 13 December in Kazan. The gala concert of its winners will be staged on 14 December in the Pyramid Cultural and Entertainment Complex and will be broadcasted by TNV and TNV-Planet channels.
On 28 November 2013, delegation of the Kazakhstan Ministry of Defence headed by the First Deputy Minister of Defence, Chief of the General Stuff of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan and Colonel General Saken Zhasuzakov visited OAO KAMAZ. The delegation was accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and Director General of OAO KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin.
Within the framework of the programme, visitors attended ZAO Remdiesel (partner of OAO KAMAZ in military automotive equipment repair) and studied the diagnostic equipment and field team activities.
Kazakhstan delegation made a tour of the automotive plant and R&D centre of the company. The delegation of the Kazakhstan Ministry of Defence reviewed products of the auto-giant and participated in a vehicle test drive.
From 28 to 29 November 2013, Kazakhstan delegation headed by Akim (Head) of Qyzylorda District Krymbek Kusherbaev visits Tatarstan.
Within the framework of its programme, Kazakhstan delegation from Qyzylorda will visit OAO TANEKO, OAO TAIF NK, OEZ PPT Alabuga, IT-Park, and Technopolis Himgrad. Members of Kazakhstan delegation will attend the plenary meeting of the International Forum entitled “Eurasian Economic Integration: Progress and Subjects”, and will meet with Kazakhstan students within the tour of the Kazan (Volga) Federal University.
A meeting is also scheduled between executives of Qyzylorda District and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
On 28 November 2013, the 50,000-th Ford Sollers car rolled off the assembly line in Yelabuga.
The Ford Sollers plant in Yelabuga launched the production of Ford vehicles in January 2012. To date, the plant manufactures Explorer, Kuga, Transit, Tourneo Custom, Ford S-MAX and Ford Galaxy vehicles. The full-cycle manufacture of the legendary Ford Explorer SUV was launched in April 2013. The full-cycle manufacture of the first Ford Kuga smart crossover started in October.
On 27 November 2013, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov attended the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and top executives of Veles Capital Investment Group.
The meeting dealt with the issues of further implementation of joint projects.
Kazan Helicopters, a member of Russian Helicopters Holding, has transferred another batch of Mi-8MTB-5 and Ansat-U helicopters to the Russian Ministry of Defence. Russian Helicopters Holding has been developing cooperation with Russia’s Ministry of Defence on the long-term basis as one of its major customers. In 2012, the government orders for Russian Helicopters Holding (consequently those for Kazan Helicopters) increased by 1.5 times.
Today, on 27 November 2013, the Kazan City Hall hosted the winner-award ceremony of the Republic’s Contest “Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan 2013” and All-Russian “100 Best Goods of Russia 2013” Contest.
This day, Kazan brought together representatives of various enterprises from all over the republic: both state-run and private ones. This year, the title of the best was championed by 439 types of products and services representing 234 enterprises in various sectors of economy. Representatives of small and medium businesses, medical, cultural and educational establishments, as well as artisans of folk arts were competing side by side against those of large industrial enterprises.

On 27 November 2013, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with State Regional Centre for Standardisation, Metrology and Testing in Tatarstan and Republic’s Agency for Press and Mass Communications Tatmedia will hold a ceremony of awarding the 2013 winners of the “Best Goods and Services of Tatarstan” republic’s competition and “100 Best Goods of Russia” all-Russian competition in the Kazan City Hall.
The competition entitled “Best Goods and Services of Tatarstan” has enjoyed a good standing; from year to year, its winners prove high quality of the goods they manufacture, both at regional and federal levels.
On 25 November 2013, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Association of European Businesses (AEB, а non-profit organisation) within the framework of the meeting held between Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and AEB Director General Frank Schauff.
In November 2013, the Board of Russian Organisation for Quality (ROQ) by its Resolution approved OAO Nizhnekamskshina to become a part of the ROQ Hall of Fame for its results in the introduction of efficient management techniques and high quality of manufactured products.
