POZIS is one of the few enterprises in Russia with its own training centre, the resources of which can be used to implement this project. For example, by adapting training programmes for its production process.
According to the programme, every company’s employee has an opportunity to undergo training if it helps support the employment of workers and increase labour productivity.
In addition, some State support measures are envisaged for the participating enterprise under the project terms: to attract, free of charge, advanced experts from the Federal Competence Centre for Labour Productivity.

On October 1, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan dedicated to the implementation of the regional project entitled “Targeted Support for Raising Labour Productivity in Enterprises of Tatarstan” (part of the Labour Productivity and Employment Support national project).
The meeting, chaired by Deputy Minister Almaz Khusainov, was held with the participation of representatives from the Tatarstan Centre for Energy Saving Technologies (a regional competence entity), the Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Security of Tatarstan, as well as republic’s enterprises participating in measures to increase labour productivity. In addition, the meeting was attended by organisations standing as potential co-executors of the national project. The main function of such “consultants” is to work together with enterprises in order to create a model stream for its further replication to the entire production process.
The work of consultants is free of charge for the enterprise. Payments will be made at the expense of the federal budget.
The meeting aroused great interest from enterprises, whose representatives were able to ask questions of their interest: for example, about the opportunities of participation in such educational programmes as “Exports Growth Accelerator” and “Productivity Leaders”, receiving subsidies for retraining and professional development of employees, etc.
Enterprises from Tatarstan have every opportunity to become the locomotives of the Russian economy’s growth. This opinion was expressed by Director General of the Federal Competence Centre for Labour Productivity Nikolay Solomon.
“Since 2011, we have been implementing a programme to increase labour productivity in the republic,” said Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov at a workshop for implementing the national project in the republic. “This area is the main resource for achieving the objective that is indicated in the Strategy 2030. Tatarstan should become a globally competitive region. It is high labour productivity that is the main indicator for the competitiveness of our economy. Today, this task has been brought to the national priority level by decree of the President of Russia.”
The republic joined the national project in 2017. It is planned that over the next five years, lean manufacturing tools will be mastered by 351 companies.
The productivity.rf site has already received 70 applications. Participation in the project is open for organisations from 5 non-resource sectors, such as manufacturing, agriculture, construction, transportation and storage, as well as utilities. Various government support measures would help them to reach a qualitatively new level, while an increase in labour productivity would improve the welfare of the inhabitants in Tatarstan.
Today, a workshop was held in Zelenodolsk on the implementation of the tasks of the Labour Productivity and Employment Support national project, as designated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The event took place in the Gorky Centre for Culture and Popular Arts. The event was organised by the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, jointly with the Tatarstan Association of Enterprises and Industrialists and the Regional Centre of Competence.
The event was attended by representatives of more than 90 enterprises in non-primary sectors of the economy, such as manufacturing, construction, agriculture, transport, and others. The meeting was moderated by TAEI President Aleksandr Lavrentiev. Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov made a welcoming speech at the event.
Reports were also made by officials of the Centre for Energy Saving Technologies under the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the Tatarstan Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection, as well as executives of some republic’s industrial enterprises, such as the Gorky Zelenodolsk Shipyard, KVART, the Kazan Motor-Building Production Association, and the Kazan Electropribor Plant.
The main topics of their reports were the opportunities and support measures envisaged for the enterprises participating in this national project, and experience of their enterprises in implementing activities to improve labour productivity.
Today, Minister Karimov held a meeting with representatives of the V.A. Belugin Centre for Digital Economy, whose experts made presentations of their projects to increase labour productivity at enterprises in Tatarstan.
Projects under the conditional name of “Software and Hardware Package for Planning and Monitoring Production Processes” have been implemented at republic’s industrial enterprises since 2017.
Such a system helps to increase labour productivity by 20%-40% due to the introduction of digital economy elements at enterprises.
At the meeting, positive feedback was received on this programme from representatives of other republic’s ministries and agencies. In the future, it is planned to compile recommendations on the use of this system in the interests of the republic.
The V.A. Belugin Centre for Digital Economy was opened at the KNRTU-KAI in 2017. The mission of the Centre is to introduce the full life cycle system of the Digital Enterprise into the companies’ activities.
