Labour Productivity project: workshop for non-primary sector companies

Today, a workshop was held in Zelenodolsk on the implementation of the tasks of the Labour Productivity and Employment Support national project, as designated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The event took place in the Gorky Centre for Culture and Popular Arts. The event was organised by the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, jointly with the Tatarstan Association of Enterprises and Industrialists and the Regional Centre of Competence.

The event was attended by representatives of more than 90 enterprises in non-primary sectors of the economy, such as manufacturing, construction, agriculture, transport, and others. The meeting was moderated by TAEI President Aleksandr Lavrentiev. Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov made a welcoming speech at the event.

Reports were also made by officials of the Centre for Energy Saving Technologies under the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the Tatarstan Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection, as well as executives of some republic’s industrial enterprises, such as the Gorky Zelenodolsk Shipyard, KVART, the Kazan Motor-Building Production Association, and the Kazan Electropribor Plant.

The main topics of their reports were the opportunities and support measures envisaged for the enterprises participating in this national project, and experience of their enterprises in implementing activities to improve labour productivity.
