Today, on 3 March 2016, during a joint visiting meeting of the Committee for Economy, Investment and Entrepreneurship under the Tatarstan State Council and the Parliamentary Committee for Supervising the Implementation of the Russian State Programme “Providing Affordable and Comfortable Housing and Utility Services to the Citizens of the Russian Federation”, its participants considered a Tatarstan draft law “On Industrial Policies in the Republic of Tatarstan”. The document was prepared for its first reading. It was submitted to the deputies by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.
Today, on 3 March 2016, the delegation from China's Sichuan Province headed by its Vice Governor Liu Jie arrived to Tatarstan with an official mission. The delegation was welcomed by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.
In the evening, it is scheduled to hold an official dinner from behalf of the Tatarstan Government.
Tomorrow, on 4 March 2016, the delegation will make a tour of the Kazan Federal University and the Kazan Helicopters.
Today, the Tatarstan House of Government hosted the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of the Board of Global Advisory Abdulhadi Al-Hajri (Qatar). The meeting was also attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaykhutdinov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, and other officials.
Today, on 2 March 2016, representatives of retail chains made a tour of the Kazan branch of АО Moscow Efes Brewery with an aim of establishing trade and economic cooperation and learning about production operations and quality of products.
Within the programme, the delegation made a tour of the production site, studied Efes products, and surveyed the beer market of Russia and Tatarstan.
Today, within his working trip to Tokyo, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov made a tour of a Fanuc plant, which manufactures equipment for industrial automation. The Tatarstan President visited the plant as a member of the Russia’s delegation headed by Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov. The delegation also comprised Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and other officials.
Prior to the tour of production sites, Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with President of Fanuc Yoshiharu Inaba. During the meeting, Denis Manturov noted that the machine tool building is one of the most promising areas in the industrial sector development.
Then, the delegation made a tour of the Fanuc plant during which Denis Manturov and Rustam Minnikhanov studied the latest production and testing technologies of automated equipment.
Yesterday, on 29 February 2016, the House of Tatar Cuisine hosted the Professional Skill Contest of the National Tatar Cuisine named after Yunus Akhmetzyanov. The contest was organised by the Institute of Economics, Management and Law, and the House of Tatar Cuisine under the auspices of the Committee for Tourism Promotion of Kazan. The official opening ceremony of the contest was attended by representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science, and the Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Kazan and Tatarstan.
On 29 February 2016, the meeting of the Public Council under the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade was held in Kazan.

Then, the parties signed the Memorandum of Intent on Ammoni-2 project. The signatories of the document were Chairman of the Board of Directors of AO Ammoni Renat Khanbikov, Director General of PAO Tatneft Nail Maganov, and top executives of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Sojitz Corporation.
Today, the meeting was held between Special Advisor to Prime Minister of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov within his working trip to Tokyo. The meeting was held in the format of business breakfast and was also attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry Albert Karimov, Director General of PAO Tatneft Nail Maganov, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of PAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim Vladimir Busygin.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues, including on strengthening relations between Tatarstan and Japan in petrochemistry and oil refining.
Yesterday, On 28 February 2016, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived to Tokyo, Japan. During his working trip, the Tatarstan President is accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov. The main goal of the visit is to participate in the Business Mission “Trade and Industrial Dialogue: Russia – Japan” to be opened on 29 February 2016. The Russia’s delegation is headed by Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.
Yesterday, within the programme, the delegation made a tour of garbage recycling Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
Tatarstan President has also visited a number of historical and cultural sites, including the Atago Shrine, a square of the Tokyo Imperial Palace, and the Rikugien Garden.
