On 15 March 2016, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Slovenia headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Russian Federation Primoz Sheligo.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of promising cooperation in mechanical engineering and machine-tool industry.

On 15 March 2016, Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre will host an official opening ceremony of the 17th International Specialised Exhibition “Energy. Resource Saving” and a meeting of the Tatarstan Government “On the Implementation of the State Programme “Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020” following the results of 2015 and tasks for 2016” with the participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. During the meeting of the Tatarstan Government, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov will deliver his report.

The business programme includes the 16th International Symposium “Energy. Resource Efficiency. Energy Saving”, scientific and technical conferences, round table discussions, and workshops.

On 14 March 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of the Volgograd Oblast Andrei Bocharov.

The delegation from Volgograd is having a working visit to Kazan. One of the delegation`s main goals is participation in the 16th International Symposium “Energy. Resource Efficiency. Energy Saving” and in the 17th International Specialised Exhibition “Energy. Resource Saving 2016” to be held tomorrow, on 15 March, at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre.

On 14 March 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov took part in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of the Kaliningrad Oblast Nikolay Tsukanov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas for mutual exchange development, establishment of bilateral contacts in education, cooperation in the sphere of tourism, and issues of large scale infrastructure projects implementation within the preparation to 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Today, on 11 March 2016, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a meeting between Tatarstan First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ruslan Kabirov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mozambique to the Russian Federation Mario Saraiva Ngwenya.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the establishment of trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Mozambique. Ruslan Kabirov briefed the guests on trade, economic, and industrial potential of the republic and emphasised that bilateral cooperation would also help establish business contacts in other countries of the region as well. In turn, the delegates from the Republic of Mozambique expressed their interest in establishing close cooperation and thanked the host party for warm welcome and high interest shown by republic`s enterprises in establishing close ties with the Republic of Mozambique during the visit.

Today, on 11 March 2016, the 5th Tatarstan State Council opened its 16th session. The session was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Councillor Mintimer Shaimiev, the members of the Tatarstan Government, Tatarstan First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ruslan Kabirov, and other officials.

The Presidium introduced 42 issues for consideration by the parliamentarians, including 13 draft laws of the Republic of Tatarstan, 18 federal draft laws and legislative initiatives of the regions.

Today, the Tatarstan Government House hosted a meeting on the issues of re-launching the Tu-160 production.

The meeting was attended by President of PAO United Aircraft Corporation Yuri Slusar, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, and other officials.

The participants discussed the issues regarding implementation of Gorbunov Kazan Aircraft Plant (branch of OAO Tupolev), projects on renovation and retrofitting within the framework of federal programmes, and other issues.

The meeting was ended with signing the Agreement on Cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and PAO United Aircraft Corporation.

Today, the Kazan Kremlin hosted the regular meeting of the Tatarstan Commission for Coordination of Counter Corruption Activities chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was also attended by Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Head of the Office of the Tatarstan President Asgat Safarov, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ruslan Kabirov, heads of republic`s ministries, agencies, and municipal entitles.

Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov has congratulated all women with the International Women’s Day. He wished them health, spring moods, good luck, support and understanding from their loved ones.

Today, the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the delegation from China’s Sichuan Province was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.

During the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov specified a number of promising areas for cooperation with Chinese partners including interaction with PAO KAMAZ.

Chinese partners expressed their particular interest in establishing cooperation in aircraft and helicopter industries (manufacture and purchase).
