Today, the 5th reporting session of the 3rd Kazan City Duma was held in the Kazan City Hall with the participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The session was chaired by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. The event was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.
The agenda comprises 19 issues, including the report on the Kazan Mayor’s activities in 2015, the report on Kazan City Duma’s activities in 2015, the reports on the activities of the Kazan Executive Committee and its Head in 2015, etc.
Today, within the framework of the project “Business and Authority: Straight Talk”, entrepreneurs have had a meeting with Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov at the Residence of Creative Industries Shtab.
Entrepreneurs and the Minister have discussed the prospects of import substitution in Tatarstan, issues of Tatarstan manufacturers support, regulation of mobile commerce, energy prices, and other topical issues for businesses.
More than 50 entrepreneurs from Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Leninogorsk, and other cities have gathered in the Residence Shtab to take part in the Straight Talk event.
On 25 February 2016, under the chairmanship of Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a meeting of the Organizing Committee of the 16th International Symposium “Energy. Resource Efficiency. Energy Saving” and the 17th International Specialized Exhibition “Energy. Resource Saving 2016”.
On 24 February 2016, the first Russian Week of Textile and Light Industry with the participation of leading manufacturers and representatives of government and business circles has been opened at the Central Exhibition Complex Expocentre in Moscow.
Attendees from the Republic of Tatarstan at this congress and exhibition event include representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Board of the Tatarstan Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry, Kazan State Technological University, and a number of industrial enterprises.
The programme of the Week will see the symposium on technical textiles, research and practice conferences, round table discussions, workshops, seminars, and plenary sessions on the main areas of domestic light industry development.
On 25 February 2016, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a meeting between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and representatives of the Embassy of Japan in the Russian Federation. The delegation was headed by Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Japan in the Russian Federation Hitoshi Ozawa. The meeting dealt with issues of launching a new Ammonia, Methanol, and Granulated Carbamide Production Complex at Ammoni in Mendeleyevsk.
Today, during his working trip to Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and other officials will make a tour of automotive components production plant for trucks (OOO NPO Rostar) and learn about activities of the Engineering Centre of the Kazan Federal University (Naberezhnye Chelny Branch).
Then, Albert Karimov will participate in the 6th session of the City Council of the Naberezhnye Chelny under the chairmanship of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Today, on the territory of the Ammoni plant, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has had a meeting with Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Japan in the Russian Federation Hitoshi Ozawa. The meeting was also attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Artyom Zdunov, Chairman of the Board of Directors at OAO Ammoni Rinat Khanbikov, and other officials.
Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the Japanese colleagues and thanked them for their support of projects in the Republic of Tatarstan. He noted that the construction of Ammoni plant is an example of fruitful cooperation between Russia and Japan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation.
On 24 February 2016, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is in his working trip in Mendeleyevsky District, the Republic of Tatarstan. The main mission is to participate in the official event on the occasion of the launch of Ammonia, Methanol and Granulated Carbamide Production Complex at Ammonia.
The Tatarstan President is accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Ammoni Rinat Khanbikov, and other representatives of Tatarstan ministries and agencies.
On 20 February 2016, within the framework of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov made a presentation during the panel discussion “The Industry Development Fund: What are the First Results?”
The participants of the panel discussion discussed issues of cooperation between the Industry Development Fund and executive authorities of Russian entities on new ways of supporting enterprises, as well as prospects in creation of regional industry development funds.
On 20 February 2016, in the framework of Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum's programme, Head of Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov delivered a speech at the round table discussion on the topic “Special Investment Contract in the Context of New Industrial Policies”.
The round table discussion was attended by Russian First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gleb Nikitin, Director General of Industry Development Fund Alexey Komissarov, administrations of Krasnoyarsk, Trans-Baikal, and Perm Krais, Omsk, Tula, and Ulyanovsk regions, and heads of Russia`s major industrial enterprises.
Head of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov noted that the Draft Law “On Industrial Policies” has been recently developed in Tatarstan.
