Meeting with SEMITEC Corporation of Japan

Tatarstan welcomed today, for the first time, the visit by President & CEO of SEMITEC Corporation Mr. Ishizuka. The meeting was held by Deputy Minister German Lerner. In addition, the meeting was attended by appointed Representative of Tatarstan in Japan Tamerlan Abdikeyev. The Japanese company executives were presented with investment opportunities in the region and the republic’s industrial potential; the parties expressed mutual interest in the development of Tatarstan-Japanese cooperation.

SEMITEC Corporation was founded in 1958 and is headquartered in Tokyo (Japan). The corporation manufactures and sells electronic components in both domestic and international markets. They offer temperature sensors, such as thermistors, as well as sensor assemblies for use in office automation, automotive, medical, home appliances, industrial appliances, and standard assemblies applications. The company was formerly known as Ishizuka Electronics Corporation and changed its name to SEMITEC Corporation in 2011.
