The Kazan Helicopters of the Russian Helicopters Holding (part of the Rostec Corporation) completed certification tests of the Ansat helicopter with a high-comfort cabin made in the style of the Aurus brand.

The purpose of the certification tests is to evaluate the performance of equipment installed in the helicopter’s executive cabin and its electromagnetic compatibility with on-board electronic equipment. The next step is to obtain approval from the Federal Air Transport Agency of this change in the helicopter’s type design.

Ansat Aurus is designed to carry five passengers. The design project of the cabin was created by experts from the Russian Helicopters and the Central Scientific Research Automobile & Engine Institute (NAMI). When developing a cabin and seeking optimal ergonomic solutions, in addition to computer modeling, tests were conducted with people of different bodily constitutions.

Being a part of the NAMI’s Cortege Project, the Aurus brand are luxury cars for top officials. For the first time, Ansat in the Aurus brand style was demonstrated at a static display of the Russian Helicopters Holding at MAKS’2019. There, the rotorcraft manufactured by Kazan Helicopters was examined by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Within the framework of an action programme to further improve financial activities of Ammoni and keep company’s facilities in operation, an extraordinary general meeting of company’s shareholders was held on February 12 in Moscow.

At the meeting, the shareholders of Ammoni unanimously elected the new composition of its Board of Directors. It included: Roman Trotsenko, Igor Bezukh, Vsevolod Bebutov from SDS Azot and Mikhail Kuzovlev from main creditor (Vnesheconombank). In the updated Board of Directors, the Republic of Tatarstan will continue to be represented by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov.

On February 11, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan hosted a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mozambique to the Russian Federation Mario Saraiva Ngwenya.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Kazan Helicopters, Tatneft, the Ak Bars Insurance Company, and other enterprises of Tatarstan.

During the talks, the sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, as well as preparations to the upcoming visit of the Tatarstan delegation to the Republic of Mozambique.

On February 7, a meeting was held at the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade concerning the production localisation for sails and sports sailing boats in the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, Executive Director of the All-Russian Sailing Federation Pavel Sobolev, President of the Poputny Veter Foundation Kirill Zinchin, Chairman of the Tatarstan Sailing Federation Board Albert Sadykov, CEO of Velvette Marine Shipyard Kirill Slepov, and others. The meeting also discussed the issue of providing production processes with the necessary composite materials and petrochemical components.

On February 4-5, a Belarusian delegation headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation Vladimir Semashko paid a working visit to Tatarstan. Within the framework of their visit, the delegation made a tour of the TPK MTZ-Tatarstan company. On February 5, a meeting was held on the implementation of joint projects based on the TPK MTZ-Tatarstan. The meeting at the plant was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov.

Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov answered questions of citizens in the course of his trip to Nizhnekamsk. An Open Conversation with Authorities was held in the assembly hall of School No. 31 in the city of Nizhnekamsk. The meeting with residents was also attended by Head of Nizhnekamsk Executive Committee Denis Balandin.

On February 4, the city of Nur-Sultan hosted the Kazakhstan-Tatarstan Oil and Gas Business Forum entitled “Cooperation in Mechanical Engineering Development with Participation of Manufacturers from Tatarstan”, organised by Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (KPO) jointly with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan and supported by the Authorised Body from the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan (PSA), the Akimat of the West Kazakhstan Region, and the Representative Office of Tatarstan in Kazakhstan.

The Forum was attended by representatives of more than 50 companies from Kazakhstan and Tatarstan, including major Kazakhstani oil and gas enterprises: the Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (KPO), NC KazMunayGas, Tengizchevroil (TCO), the North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC), as well as mechanical engineering companies from Kazakhstan.

The Forum also hosted a ceremony of signing agreements on the creation of a consortium between KazMunayKhim and Mirrico Group, as well as between KazMunayKhim and Neftech.

During the Forum, mutual interest was confirmed in developing and strengthening business partnerships. The parties agreed on further cooperation within the framework of Technology Days. The Tatarstan Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals Forum’2020 to be held on September 2-4 in Kazan, was also proposed as a platform for its organisation.

Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Vasil Shaykhraziev handed over today certificates to industrial enterprises that are active in using the “100th Anniversary of Tatar ASSR" commemorative mark on the goods they manufactured. The certificates were awarded to the Bugulma Sewing Factory, the Kukmor Felt-Fulling Factory, the Kazan Branch of AB InBev Efes, PKF Betar, the Kazan Motor-Building Production Association, and Alga.

From February 2 to 5, 2020, Tatarstan is hosting the delegation from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) headed by Minister for External Relations and Affairs of Peoples of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Gavril Kirillin.

The delegation visited the Tatarstan Ministry of Culture, the Tatarstan Ministry of Sports, the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre, the IT Park, the Technopolis Himgrad, the City of Innopolis, Eidos-Medicine and Eidos-Robotics, and the Tatarstan Agency for State Orders.
