POZIS Company (part of the Tecmash Concern under the Rostec Corporation) became the winner of the sectoral contest for the best organisation of work in implementing the programme of practical activities of the defence industry trade unions in the field of youth policies.
The Russian Trade Union of Industrial Workers (ROSSPROFROM) has recognised the youth organisation of POZIS as the strongest in Russia for the 6th year in a row. Its leader Aleksandr Spirin has again become one of the best organisers of youth movement among industry-based trade unions.
POZIS youth organisation has many things to be proud of. For many years, the team has been one of the strongest in Engineers of the Future International Forum, both actively participating in it and organising educational services for other participants.
The youth organisation regularly holds industrial and scientific events, cultural and sports festivals. Young employees of the company take an active part in professional contests and events at municipal, republic’s, and all-Russian levels. Achievements of these young people are the result of support and productive activities of POZIS management team and its trade union committee.
Factory Youth Union of POZIS was established on the initiative of the company’s management as far back as in 1999. It unites young people under 35 years of age. More than 30% of the company’s personnel are young people.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, as part of the Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, arrived on a working trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During their visit to Sarajevo, the Tatarstan delegation met with the Co-Chairman of the Russian-Bosnian-Herzegovinian Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Staša Košarac.
The Tatarstan President noted that the visit of the Tatarstan delegation was associated with the intention to expand trade and economic cooperation between the parties. It is also important to establish new contacts. Staša Košarac, in turn, noted the importance of building ties between producers and consumers of the two countries.
President Minnikhanov drew attention to the interest in expanding the scope of trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina. In particular, in the supply of helicopters.
In addition, a round-table discussion was held between business communities of Tatarstan and Bosnia and Herzegovina to discuss topical areas of cooperation.
A meeting also took place between the Tatarstan delegation and the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik and Presidency members Šefik Džaferović and Željko Komšić.
Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan continue to visit the qualifying rounds of the 9th National Young Professionals Championship (WorldSkills Russia), which will be held from 1st April through 28th May, 2021.
Semi-finals will be held in 31 regions of the Russian Federation in 135 skills of WorldSkills and 81 skills of WorldSkills Junior, where more than 80 regions will take part. Tatarstan will be represented in 117 skills of WorldSkills and 72 skills of WorldSkills Junior.
Last week, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Marat Minibayev attended the qualifying round of the WorldSkills Russia 2021 Young Professionals semi-final at the Ulyanovsk Aviation College - Interregional Competence Centre.
A representative of the ministry also visited the Vostrukhin College of Communications No. 54 to review the qualifying rounds in the Laser Technology skill and to support the competitors.
More than 20 farms will take part in the fair. Based on the results of the sales, the retail chain intends to conclude contracts with the best farms.
The event will take place on April 17-18 at the Auchan Yuzhny hypermarket, located at 91 Pobedy Avenue. A special zone will be allocated in the territory of the store, where farmers will personally present their range of products. The fair will be held in accordance with all sanitary regulations.
The event will be attended by more than 20 farms, selected by the Ministry of Agriculture together with the purchasing department and the management of Auchan Yuzhny hypermarket. In the food segment, customers will be offered dairy, meat gastronomy, frozen semi-finished products, healthy lifestyle products, national desserts, groceries, and drinks. In the non-food segment, textiles and footwear will be presented.
In a week from now, on 24-25 April, the second Farmer’s Fair is scheduled to take place at the Auchan Park House hypermarket at 46/33 Khusain Yamashev Avenue, Kazan.
Within the framework of implementing the sectoral project on avoiding unfair conduct in carrying out entrepreneurial activities in the markets, including compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on the application of cash register equipment, the tax authorities of Tatarstan carried out an inventorying of markets and trading areas located in Tatarstan.
The project aims to reduce the shadow turnover of retail markets and create an equal competitive business environment.
Consumer rights protection is also an integral part of the project. A cashier’s check is a document confirming the legality of sales. It makes it possible, if necessary, to file a claim for the sale of low-quality goods or services. Taxpayers who violate legislation on the use of cash registers will be subject to checks by tax authorities.
A working group has been set up under the auspices of the Federal Tax Service in Tatarstan to cooperate and resolve any issues arising in the course of the project. On April 1, 2021, a regular meeting was held; the participants were informed that starting from April 1, 2021 inspections will start of entrepreneurs and organisations operating in markets and trade centres for the absence of violations of current legislation.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov had a videoconference meeting today with Director General of CNH Industrial Russia Fabrizio Cepollina.
The company is a world leader in the production of equipment with many years of industrial experience, a wide range of products offered, and an international reputation. CNH Industrial’s history in Russia started in 1907. As of now, the company occupies a strong position in the segments of sales of agricultural equipment, commercial vehicles, and road construction equipment.
During the talks, current and future projects under the special investment contract of CNH Industrial Russia were discussed via videoconferencing.
Within the framework of this project it is planned to establish production of agricultural tractors, localisation of production, component parts for New Holland and Case IH tractors in Russia, as well as launching agricultural machinery produced at the Naberezhnye Chelny production site into the Russian market.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed interest in further strengthening of joint projects aimed at the integrated development of the mechanical engineering sector.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met today with members of the Association for Digital Development Promotion. The meeting of the Association was held at the premises of the IT Park in Kazan. The main topic discussed today was “Service Approaches in the Digitalisation of Municipal Administration”.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded in his opening remarks that this was the first meeting of the Association this year. According to him, it has become a good tradition to consider digitalisation issues in a broad format. Municipalities work closely with citizens and businesses, and projects to digitalise city administrations in Kazan, Almetyevsk, and Yelabuga were presented at the meeting today.
Chairman of the Association’s Council Rifkat Minnikhanov reminded that the Digital Transformation Development Strategy is being developed in eight areas in the republic. Those include Digital Region, Digital Economy, Digital Population, Digital Environment, Digital Mobility, Digital Science, Digital Heritage, and Digital Independence.
Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin reported on the processes of digital transformation in Kazan. He reminded that by 2030 the target should be reached that 95% of services will be rendered in electronic format.

A delegation from the Republic of Iraq headed by Minister of Oil Ihsan Abdel Jabbar Ismail is on a two-day visit to Tatarstan.
As part of their visit, the delegation met had a meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
President Minnikhanov stressed that a number of Tatarstan’s enterprises have rich experience of work in Iraq. First of all, Tatneft had opened a representative office in Iraq as far back as 1999. The company is an active participant of the Oil for Food humanitarian programme of the United Nations in which it supplied tyres.
Today, Tatneft is ready to continue exploring the opportunity of entering oil and gas projects in Iraq and participate in official tenders announced by its state agencies. Tatneft’s qualification with the Iraqi Oil Ministry was initiated at the end of 2019.
In turn, Ihsan Ismail noted Tatarstan’s great experience in oil production, refining, and petrochemicals. The minister stressed that Iraq is interested in developing mutually beneficial relations in this sphere.
As part of his visit to Tatarstan, the Iraqi oil minister paid a visit to the Kazan Federal University. He also visited the city of Almetyevsk, where he toured the Tatneft Competence Centre, the TANECO complex, and the city of Naberezhnye Chelny to see KAMAZ facilities.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov had a meeting today with Chief Regional Operations Director for CIS of Marubeni Corporation Naotako Minesaki and his assistant Yekaterina Tyurleneva.
During the working meeting, the parties discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation between Tatarstan and Marubeni Corporation of Japan.
Traditionally, the main areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and Japan are medical industry, oil and gas extraction and processing, and the construction industry.
Among investment projects located on the territory of the Republic one can mention Iida Sangyo that implements Phase II of the project for the construction of houses in the Little Tokyo cottage village.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue and deepen bilateral cooperation.

Today, staff members of the Permanent Mission of Tatarstan paid a working visit to the city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region within the framework of the finals of the 9th National Young Professionals Competition (WorldSkills Russia) in the Universal Lathe Machine Operation skill.
At the site of the St. Petersburg Academy of Mechanical Engineering, together with First Deputy Director of Academy Tatiana Ishchenko and Deputy Director of Academy for Educational Work and Personnel Policies Aleksandr Gudkov, they reviewed the operation of the competition grounds, the educational and production faculty of the Academy, as well as the material and technical base of the institution.
Besides, staff members of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan met with A.P. Rykov, an expert from Tatarstan. During the meeting he mentioned that the organisers provide all necessary assistance to the participants and create comfortable conditions for the competition.
At the end of the meeting, the management of the St. Petersburg Academy of Mechanical Engineering and the organisers of the qualifying competition from the Kazan Polytechnic College toured the advanced sites and exchanged experience.
