Employees of the Kazan Helicopters took part in a business game, which became an in-site stage for skills diagnostics of company's employees, as part of a comprehensive project for building a systemic work with young people. The correspondence stage consisted in questioning and filling in an online checklist.

Throughout the game, participants face various external destabilising factors: crises, needs for credits, etc. A winner is the team that has created the most efficient corporation.

Based on the results of the two stages of diagnostics, the Rostec Academy will determine the level of promotion and manifestation of corporate skills and make a detailed conclusion with recommendations on the future professional development of each employee.

The mission of the Rostec’s Young Professionals programme is to form an overall system for working with youth at its companies. The programme’s key elements are the identification and development of high-potential employees, technology leaders capable of initiating, launching, and maintaining relevant projects.

More than a dozen of major plastics manufacturers from all over the country was brought together to discuss the progress and problems in the industry, as well as ways to tackle them.

Among the reasons is that the sector is developing at a faster pace that the Russia’s economy in general. The solution to this problem could be the reorientation of finished products for exports.

In the next six years, measures of state support for the chemical industry are expected to be largely aimed at increasing the exports potential. Support measures should also be more active in ensuring the relevance of the country’s customs and tariff policies by reducing import duties on goods that are not produced in Russia, and in increasing duties on goods whose production is excessive. In addition, the rates of import duties on polymer products should not be lower than the rates on the polymers themselves.
