On 24 May 2012 the "Basket-hall" stadium hosted a solemn event dedicated to celebrating the Chemist Day. This festive event was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Advisor to the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, senior officials of the republic’s petrochemical enterprises, students and academics, pupils and teachers.

On 24 May 2012 a solemn event was held dedicated to the 55th anniversary of ZAO NIIturbokompressor n.a. V.B. Shneppa, which was attended by the Prime Minister of Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ildar Mingaleev, senior officials and staff members of the NII and the representatives of OAO Kazankompressormash. The Head of the Tatarstan Government inspected the production facility, familiarized himself with the testing benches used to test the innovative engineering developments applied in the production at Kazankompressormash plant. The Prime Minister presented the government awards and diplomas to the best employees of ZAO NIIturbokompressor n.a. V.B. Shneppa.

On 24 May 2012 the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov laid a capsule into the foundation of the industrial electronics plant ICL-KPO VC with the message for future generations. The solemn ceremony dedicated to the construction start-up of the new plant in the Laishevskiy district was attended by Ravil Zaripov, the Acting Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov congratulates representatives of the national media community on their professional holiday - the Tatarstan Press Day and expresses appreciation for the accurate and timely covering the issues of development of industry, trade and services, international and foreign economic activities of the republic and cooperation in the issue of propagating the advanced experience of the Tatarstan enterprises in the field of manufacturing and quality management systems.

On 18 May 2012, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnara Akhmadeeva took part in the ceremonies dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of KNITU (KAI). In her welcoming speech, the Deputy Minister noted that currently the KNITU (KAI) is the major educational, research and innovation complex that strongly ranks among the best technical universities of Russia.

On 17 May 2012, the Interagency Working Group under the Ministry of Industry and Trade considered the investment programmes of the enterprises in the real economy sector carrying out the restructuring and renovation of their production processes using lean technologies.
Applications from various industrial enterprises were considered at the meeting.

On 15 May 2012 the Turkmenistan official delegation visited the production shops of the OAO Kazan Helicopters. The delegation was accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, the Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and other dignitaries. The Turmenistan delegation included the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Bayar Abayev, the Minister of Economy and Development Byashimmurad Khodzhamamedov and other officials.

0n 15 May 2012, the Tatarstan First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ruslan Kabirov met with the delegation of innovation companies from Austria, headed by Andreas Reichardt, Deputy Minister for Transport, Innovation and Technology of the Republic of Austria. During the meeting the parties discussed the issues related to the development of further cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Austria.

On 15 May 2012, the official delegation from Turkmenistan headed by Turkmenistan President Gurbangula Berdimykhamedov is on the official mission to the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of his working trip to the Russian Federation (14-16 May 2012). At the Kazan International Airport guests were welcomed by the Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov.
