On 8 June 2012, a ceremony of laying a capsule addressed to future generations was held on the construction site of Technopolis Novaya Tura in Zelenodolskiy Municipal District of Tatarstan. The ceremony was attended by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, First Deputy Prime Minister Ravil Muratov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnara Akhmadeeva and heads of ministries and agencies.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov welcomed the organizers and participants of the 14th Intermebel international specialized exhibition and the 13th Woodworking specialized exhibition opened on 6 June 2012 in the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre.
On 6 June 2012, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattahov granted an interview to the “Area of Attention” programme of the Moscow Region TV Channel “Podmoskovie”. The interview was devoted to the current state and prospects of cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Moscow Region within the framework of the intergovernmental Agreement on Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technical, Social and Cultural Cooperation signed in March this year.
On 6 and 7 June 2012, Kazan will host the 5th Russian-Japanese Investment Forum with participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Edano Yukio, and Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Oleg Saveliev. The forum will be attended by representatives of Russia’s regional public authorities and Japanese prefectures, top executives of large national corporations, Russian and Japanese companies with an expertise of effective interaction, and representatives of business associations from both countries.
On 31 May 2012, within the framework of the Tatarstan-Turkish Trade and Investment Forum attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, a presentation devoted to the industrial and investment potential of Tatarstan was carried out by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov where he outlined the promising areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and Turkey.
On 30 May 2012, within the framework of the 2nd session of the Coordination Council for Industry in Chelyabinsk attended by Russian Federation Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov. Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnara Akhmadeeva delivered a report “Integration of Production and Quality Control Systems: Case Study of the Republic of Tatarstan”.
