On 1 and 2 November 2012, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with FGAOU DPO “Institute for Advanced Training of Executives and Experts of the Fuel and Energy Complex” under the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation held the qualification upgrading courses on “Organisation and Procedures of Categorisation and Passportisation of Fuel and Energy Complex Facilities”.
The training group comprised experts from industrial enterprises and representatives of the Tatarstan ministries and government agencies engaged in categorisation and passportisation of fuel and energy complex facilities.

On 2 November 2012, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov attended the ceremonial event dedicated to the celebration of the 90th anniversary of OAO Tupolev. On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan he congratulated the OAO Tupolev personnel with the date of its foundation.
Nowadays, the enterprise holds strong positions domestically and far beyond in the sphere of design of various multipurpose aircraft, thus proved its ability to manufacture products complying with global standards

The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov congratulated the work staffs of industrial enterprises and the republic’s enterprises of trade and services sector with the National Unity Day.

On 1 November 2012, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Rashat Fattakhov attended the opening ceremony of the 24th Specialised Exhibition of Light and Textile Industries “Week of Fashion and Style”. This Kazan-based Exhibition is an effective instrument to form the consumer market of domestic manufacturers’ products. This year the Exhibition brings together over 200 companies from 50 Russia’s cities.
The main objectives of the Exhibition include the display of achievements in the production of modern clothes and footwear, establishment and development of partnership relations between the manufacturers, enterprises of wholesale and retail trade and sole proprietors, as well as the consolidation of interregional ties.

OAO Kazan Helicopters Plant held an annual workmanship contest among its workers and technicians. This contest helps find the best professionals, to check theoretical and practical skills of the enterprise’s employees and enhance the prestige of the blue-collar jobs at the plant. Participation at this contest results in granting a number of benefits for the employees demonstrating the high level of their skills, including increase in their salaries.

On 31 October 2012, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan held the meeting related to the issues of holding the Tatarstan-Finland Business Forum on 14 November 2012 with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade of Finland Alexander Stubb. The meeting was also attended by the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ruslan Kabirov, Director of the Representative Office of the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce in Yekaterinburg Lyudmila Safina, and heads of departments from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On 30 October 2012, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov chaired the meeting related to the development of the children’s (teenagers’) technical art in the republic.
The Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Gulnara Akhmadeyeva reported the progress in the work performed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with the republic’s ministries and departments, Tatarstan Association of Enterprises and Entrepreneurs, and the republic’s industrial enterprises on the establishing of the Intradepartmental Working Group and the working out of a joint Programme of Activities to develop the children’s (teenagers’) technical art in Tatarstan.

On 30 October 2012, Vagit Alekperov, President of OAO LUKOIL Oil Company, pays a visit to the Republic of Tatarstan. In the Kazan International Airport he was welcomed by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, and other Tatarstan officials.
Within his visit programme, Vagit Alekperov had a meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The LUKOIL President will attend the award ceremony of the Contest of Social and Cultural Projects held by OAO RITEK and LUKOIL Charity Fund in the Republic of Tatarstan; he is also scheduled to visit the Island City of Sviyazhsk and to have a tour of IT Park.

KamAZ-Master team were split into four crews for Dakar 2013 International Rally. KamAZ-Master keeps on pursuing the strategy of engaging young pilots into the crews. The Team Manager Vladimir Chagin officially announced the names of pilots to take part in this prestigious international sporting contest.

On 25 October 2012, Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre (Moscow) hosted the All-Russian Conference “On the Preparatory Works for Autumn and Winter Period 2012/2013 at the Electric Power Facilities and the Development of the Electricity and Power Market”. The Conference brought together top executives from energy companies and headquarters for the safety assurance of power supply in the Russian regions. Guzyal Sadriyeva, Head of the Energy Board, represented the Ministry of Industry and Trade at the Conference.
