The Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade provide English lessons for the personnel of the public catering and trade establishments, that are intended to serve the guests and the athletes of the Kazan World Summer Universiade 2013. The lessons will go on till 21 May 2013.

On 25 to 26 April 2013, the delegation from the Republic of Komi headed by the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Transport of Komi Alexander Gibezh will pay a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan.
The objective of the visit is to study Tatarstan’s experience in developing the biotechnologies.
The Komi delegation comprises representatives of the state authorities and scientific organisations, as well as the members of the Working Group for the Development of Biotechnologies in the republic.

On 22 April 2013 within the program on upgrading and increase in product throughput in the isoprene-monomer plant at the OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, the additional isoprene fusion reactor was put into operation.

Two representatives of Tatarstan: the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and the First Deputy Director General of OAO KamAZ Yuri Klochkov rank among top 10 of the rating entitled “Industrial Elite of Russia: 100 Best Production Managers 2013” held for the third time in Russia within the non-commercial project by the Production Management Portal.
The main objective of the rating is to determine with the assistance of respected experts the most successful industrial managers making a considerable contribution to the development of their companies, branch of industry, or the country’s economy as a whole.

On 22 April 2013, the Tatarstan delegation headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Nizhny Novgorod. The delegation comprised the Aide to the President Airat Khairullin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Khamza Bagmanov, Trade and Economic Representative of Tatarstan in Nizhny Novgorod Region Airat Usmanov, and top executives from the republic’s enterprises.
Within the visit programme in Nizhny Novgorod, the Tatarstan delegation made a tour of the production units of the Engineering Company Atomenergoproekt to see the Company’s presentation and to discuss the issues of cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan.

On 19 April 2013, OOO Nizhnekamsk Tyres Plant manufactured the millionth all-steel tyre.
The project of OAO Tatneft for the production of all-steel tyres is one of the most promising trends in developing the tyre business.

During their working visit on 19 to 20 April 2013 to China, the Tatarstan delegates headed by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov studied China’s expertise in creating and developing special economic zones.
The Tatarstan delegation comprising representatives of the state and municipal authorities, made a tour of the Suzhou Industrial Park and Dalian Economic & Technological Development Zone, and also studied the issues of management, planning, and arrangement of activities in economic zones.

On 18 April 2013, OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim held launching ceremony of ABS plastics production facility. The ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov who called this event a Company’s another successful project.

On 18 April 2013, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Rashat Fattakhov had a meeting with the Dagestan delegation headed by Acting Minister of Industry and Energy of the Republic of Dagestan Rizvan Gazimagomedov.
The meeting discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation.
The visit includes B2B meetings between the Dagestan companies and 25 Tatarstan enterprises of various industries. The delegates will make a tour of the Technopolis Himgrad and IT Park; they will also study the e-Tatarstan project, capabilities of GLONASS +112 System, and electronic trading platform.

On 18 to 19 April 2013, the Dagestan delegation headed by Acting Minister of Industry and Energy of the Republic of Dagestan Rizvan Gazimagomedov pays a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan.
The delegates will study the republic’s industrial, trade, economic, and investment potential, as well as the e-Tatarstan project, capabilities of GLONASS +112 System, and electronic trading platform; they will also make a tour of the Technopolis Khimgrad and IT Park.
The visit also includes the B2B meetings between the representatives of the Tatarstan and Dagestan enterprises.
