On 27 May 2013, at Tatneft headquarters in Almetievsk, the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with top executives of the republic’s small oil companies. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov, General Director of OAO Tatneft Shafagat Takhautdinov, heads of the republic’s ministries, agencies, and territorial departments of the federal agencies, and top managers of the republic’s small oil companies. The meeting summarised the performance of small oil companies in the Q1 2013 and discussed the prospects for their further development.
On 27 May 2013, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Gulnara Akhmadeyeva chaired the meeting of the Committee for Implementing the Anti-Corruption Policies by the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.
On 27 May 2013, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade held a meeting with the Russia Director of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce Mr. Alan Thompson.
During the meeting, the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan made a presentation of the republic’s industrial and investment potential.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Economy, Investment Development Agency, and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
On 24 may 2013, during the ceremonial celebration of the 225th Anniversary of the Kazan Gunpowder Plant, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov paid his compliments to the long-service employees and to the staff of the Plant.
To date, the Kazan Gunpowder Plant is a vigorously developing diversified enterprise. It is actively involved in the implementation of the State arms programmes. The Plant produces a whole range of competitive civilian products.

On 23 May 2013, a meeting was held at the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade on organizing and running the republic’s Television Art Festival of young workers. The meeting was chaired by Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade. The meeting was attended by Engel Fattakhov, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Sharapov, acting Minister of Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, Gulnara Akhmadeeva, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksey Pakhomov, Director General of the Regional Employers' Association “Association of enterprises and employers of the Republic of Tatarstan”, Aydar Gaynutdinov, Director of the Youth voluntary organization “Sozvezdie-Joldyzlyk”, Dmitriy Tumanov, Director of the festival movement “Sozvezdie-Joldyzlyk”. During the meeting the documents were signed on organizing and running the Republic’s Television Art Festival of young workers.
On 23 May 3013, Nizhnekamsk hosted the celebration ceremony of the Chemist’s Day.
Employees of the petrochemical sector were congratulated by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan; Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council; Ravil Zaripov, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan; Aidar Metshin, Head of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District; Professor German Dyakonov, Principal of the Kazan National Research Technological University; and Tatyana Vodopyanova, Chair of the Tatarstan Federation of Trade Unions, Member of the Tatarstan State Council.
On 23 to 31 May 2013, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with top officials of the republic’s municipalities and public catering enterprises are holding the event entitled “Days of Ethnic Cuisines among the Nations Residing in the Republic of Tatarstan”.
106 public catering enterprises from 23 republic’s municipalities have submitted their applications to take part in the Days of Ethnic Cuisines. The municipalities have set up committees to decide on winners of the event.

The ceremonial event will be attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan; Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council; Ildar Khalikov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan; Ravil Zaripov, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan; Aidar Metshin, Head of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District; top executives from enterprises representing the republic’s gas and petrochemical cluster; professors and students from the Kazan National Research Technological University, Kazan Federal University, and Nizhnekamsk Chemical and Technological University; and the republic’s best chemistry teachers.

On 21 May 2013, the Kazan State Technical University held the opening ceremony of the Shipbuilding Centre. The ceremony was attended by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnara Akhmadeyeva, top executives from Zelenodolsk Shipyard and Kazan State Technical University, and top managers from industrial enterprises.
The Shipbuilding Centre under the Kazan State Technical University has been created to ensure high quality training practices at the Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering Faculty.
n 20 May 2013, a Technical Seminar entitled “Assembly and Repairs of Polyethylene Water, Sewage, and Gas Pipe Lines” was organized and held by Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with the Tatarstan ZAO Tekhstroy, the manufacturer of polyethylene pipes. The Seminar was attended by heads of departments, representatives of water services companies, design institutes, construction-and-assembly and operating organisations.
Specialists of ZAO Tekhstroy, one of Russia’s largest manufacturers of polyethylene water, gas, and sewage pipes, informed the participants of the Seminar about the enterprise’s new projects.
