On 22 July 2013, the Tatarstan Oil Summit took place under the chairmanship of the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
The Tatarstan Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin, the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, deputies of the Russian State Duma, heads of oil companies, heads of the Tatarstan municipalities participated at the summit.

On 20 July 2013, the Day of the Ministry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan was celebrated. Annually held corporate get-together this year was dedicated to the World Summer Universiade which hosted in Kazan. Addressing the Ministry staff, the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov emphasized that “overwhelming success of the World University Games showcased tremendous potential of our republic, as well as solidarity and interest of all people of the republic in successful holding of the Universiade”

On 17 July 2013, the meeting took place between Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Andrey Cherezov, attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Khamza Bagmanov, as well as representatives from the Government of Krasnodar Krai, and Russian network companies.
The participants of the meeting discussed the expertise of Tatarstan in powering the Universiade facilities and came up with the opinion that the gained experience is to be used during the forthcoming 2014 Summer Olympic Games in Sochi.

On 16 July 2013, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov chaired the meeting regarding the issues of holding the Oil Summit of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tatarstan Gas and Petrochemical Forum.
The Summit participants will exchange their experience of introducing highly efficient technologies and discuss the prospects of oil production in the republic.
The Forum is being organised with the assistance of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”, Academy of Sciences, and Kazan Federal University.
The Tatarstan Gas and Petrochemical Forum will be attended by about 1,800 representatives of Russian and foreign sciences, sectoral ministries and agencies, and production sector.

On 15 July 2013, the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov chaired the meeting of the Organisational Committee regarding the arrangement of the visit by the Tatarstan delegation to Krasnodar Krai to take part in the 12th International Investment Forum Sochi 2013.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Organisational Committee, top executives and representatives of the Tatarstan sectoral ministries and agencies, Tatarstan Association of Enterprises and Entrepreneurs, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and republic’s educational establishments.
The meeting dealt with proposals made by ministries and agencies on organising the Tatarstan Expo at the 12th International Investment Forum Sochi 2013 to be held on 26 to 29 September 2013 in Sochi (Krasnodar Krai).

The Silk Way Rally finished on 3 July 2013 with the crew of Dmitry Sotnikov from KamAZ-Master Team winning the trucks competition. In overall ranking, he was followed by his teammate Anton Shibalov while Ayrat Mardeyev ranked 4th.

On 9 July 2013, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting regarding the creation of the First Republic’s Vocational Boarding School with Enhanced Teaching of Chemistry named after Pyotr Kirpichnikov. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnara Akhmadeyeva, Vice Principal for Lifelong Education at the Kazan National Research Technological University Lyubov Ovsiyenko, and heads of departments from the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The Vocational Boarding School located at Orekhovka Township of Zelenodolsky District opens its doors for pupils on 1 September this year. A total of 112 pupils, winners of school, district, city, and republic’s academic competitions will be studying there.

On 9 July 2013, the Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnara Akhmadeyeva held the meeting regarding the implementation of the Action Plan issued by the Tatarstan Government on organising the execution of the principal regulations and targets specified in the Decrees by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin No. 594, 596-602, and 606 dated 7 May 2012.

On 8 July 2013, the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov chaired the organisational meetings regarding the issues of arranging and holding the celebrations of the Aviation Day and Mechanical Engineer’s Day in the republic, as well as holding the international specialized exhibitions “Mechanical Engineering. Metal Processing. Kazan”, “TechnoWelding”, and International Science and Technology Conference entitled “Innovative Mechanical Engineering Technologies, Equipment, and Materials 2013”.
The meetings were attended by Gulnara Akhmadeyeva and Ravil Mingaleyev, Tatarstan Deputy Ministers of Industry and Trade; top executives from Kazan Helicopters, Gorbunov Kazan Aircraft Association, Central Aeroclub of Tatarstan, OAO KNIAT, OAO Kazanskaya Yarmarka, and Tupolev Kazan State Technical University; as well as heads of departments from the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Education and Science.
