Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade organised the visit of SOCAR Azerbaijan State Oil Company delegation headed by Vice President of Strategic Development Tofig Gahramanov to Tatarstan from 7 April to 10 April 2014. Within the framework of the visit, SOCAR delegation had meetings with the executives of OAO Tatneft, OAO TANECO, OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, OEZ Alabuga, OAO PO ELAZ, OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding, OAO KAZANCOMPRESSORMASH, OAO KMPO and Kazan National Research Technological University, and also attended the meeting held in the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade with the participation of concerned republic’s enterprises.
On 2 April 2014, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin and Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trae Ravil Zaripov participated in the offsite extended meeting of the Interim Committee of the Federation Council for Monitoring of Russia's Participation in the WTO and the Customs Union dedicated to the prospects of national aircraft industry development.
The participants of the meeting discussed topical issues of the state support and development of aircraft industry, improvement of industry’s competitiveness and made a tour of Aviastar-SP, an up-to-date aircraft enterprise.
On 1 April 2014, Moscow Central Exhibition Hall Manege with the participation of Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov held the panel discussion entitled ‘School uniform’. The discussion was attended by executives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, regional executive authorities, Russia’s light industry enterprises and National Union of School Uniform Manufacturers. During the panel discussion, participants made the suggestions concerning the reverting of school uniform back to common use in Russia.
It is planned to create an all-Russia information resource centre with designs of school uniform sets, their approximate prices and quality characteristics.
Within the framework of the Day of School Uniform Collections, samples and models of school uniform were demonstrated for primary, secondary, and high schools.
On 28 March 2014, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade held a videoconference meeting under the chairmanship of Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov with Tatarstan representatives from abroad and Russia’s regions.
Within the framework of the meeting, participants discussed issues of current activities of Tatarstan representative offices and identified challenges for the future.
On 28 March 2014, the meeting of the Economic Council under the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers was held under the chairmanship of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, leaders of ministries and institutions of the republic. The meeting saw the discussion of the draft ‘road map’ for small and medium-sized business development in Tatarstan for 2014-2016.
On 27 March 2014, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and delegation of Thuringia business community headed by Chairman of the State Development Corporation of Thuringia Andreas Krey.
During the meeting which took place at the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, parties discussed the issues of further cooperation between Tatarstan and Thuringia.
Within the framework of their programme in Tatarstan, Thuringia delegation will visit OAO Kazankompressormash, KAI-Laser Regional Engineering Centre, OAO Kazan Helicopters, OAO KAMAZ, OAO PO ELAZ, OOO Ford Sollers Yelabuga, and OAO KIP Master.
On 27 March 2014, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov participated in the meeting between Director General of OAO Schvabe Sergey Maksin and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Participants of the meeting discussed the project of creating an innovative engineering centre and science city by OAO Schvabe at Kazan Smart City production site.
Within the framework of the meeting, the Agreement on Cooperation and Interaction in the Fields of Science, Technology, Production and Industry was signed between the Kazan Federal University and OAO Schvabe in the presence of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
On 27 March 2014, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov participated in the meeting between the Chairman of the Board of Maire Technimont Group Fabrizio Di Amato and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
The Italia-based Maire Technimont comprises some 50 companies engaged in designing facilities for crude oil production, chemicals and petrochemicals, energy, infrastructure, etc. The company numbers approximately 5,000 employees in 30 countries of the world.
Within the framework of the meeting, parties discussed cooperation opportunities between petrochemical enterprises of Tatarstan and Maire Technimont Group.
On 25 March 2014, within the framework of his programme in Kazan, Head of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev visited ZAO KAPO-Komposit, a manufacturer of civil aviation equipment, and Regional Engineering Centre of Industrial Laser Technologies KAI-Laser.
Dmitry Medvedev studied main production stages. In the territory of KAPO-Komposit, he also made a tour of the exhibition of the Tatarstan enterprises engaged in preproduction and production of aircraft equipment.
During his visit to KAI-Laser Regional Engineering Centre of Industrial Laser Technologies, Dmitry Medvedev studied the plans for KAI-Park development.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov participated in the meeting dedicated to Innovative Territorial Clusters development, which took place in the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers on 25 March 2014.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is also the Chairman of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, focused in his speech on two important areas for the country and regions: engineering centres and training.
