On 23 May 2014, the jubilee 7,500-th helicopter of Mi-8/17 family was manufactured at Kazan Helicopters facility.

Military transport MI-8MTV-5 will be handed over to the Russian Air Force in accordance with the contract.

Helicopters of MI-8/17 family are the leaders of Russian helicopter industry thanks to their versatility and high performance. More than 12,000 helicopters have been produced up to date and delivered to the customers in over 100 countries.

Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov congratulates former and current employees of chemical and petrochemical industry with their professional holiday:

On 21 May 2014, Kazan Helicopters hosted the participants of the annual All-Russia branch professional skills competition.

Employees competed in two categories: from 18 to 29 and from 30. The competitors made practical and theoretical tasks, which were graded by the following characteristics: quality and completeness of the technology procedures, execution and observance of GOST and industry standard rules, and time of process development.

On 23 May 2014, Nizhnekamsk will host the Chemist’s Day official celebration in the Neftekhimik Ice Palace. The official event will be attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Deputy of the Russia’s State Duma Alina Kabayeva, President of Russian Chemists Union Viktor Ivanov, Chairman of Russian Chemical Workers Union Aleksandr Sitnov, Head of Nizhnekamsky District Aydar Metshin, executives of Tatarstan petrochemical industry enterprises, lecturers and students of the Kazan National Research Technological University, Kazan Federal University, and Nizhnekamsk Chemical and Technological University, the school students who won All-Russia academic competitions, and the republic’s best teachers of chemistry.

On 22 May 2014, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and the republic’s delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the 18th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The forum will be attended by Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.

More than 100 official delegations from 62 countries, executives of approximately 150 large international companies and 450 Russia’s leading companies are planning to attend the forum.

On 21 May 2014, OAO Zelenodolsk Shipyard hosted the official ceremony dedicated to the launch of an Okean Project 22100 border guard ship. The ceremony was attended by officials of the Border Guard Service of Russia, ministries and agencies, Zelenodolsk District, and OAO Ak Bars Holding Company.

The main mission of the Okean border guard ship is to guard the exclusive economic zone of the Russian Federation. 

On 20 May 2014, the winners of WorldSkills Russia-2014, the National Championship, were awarded during the award ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, President of WorldSkills International Simon Bartley, Head of WorldSkills Russia Pavel Chernykh, and officials of republics’ ministries.

Tatarstan won the 2nd National Championship of WorldSkills Russia 2014 as a team. Moscow ranked second, followed by Sverdlovsk Oblast.

On 19 May 2014, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov awarded the employees of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade with prizes and valuable gifts.

On 16 May 2014, a national championship WorldSkills Russia 2014 has started in Kazan. The opening ceremony of the 2nd All-Russia competition of professional skills was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Olga Golodets, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, representatives of Tatarstan industrial enterprises and educational institutions.
