On 4 July 2014, Tatarstan President participated in the traditional Oil Summit that annually takes place in the republic since 2001.
This year, the Oil Summit is being held for the 14th time, and the 5th time under the chairmanship of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The forum was also attended by Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Energy Kirill Molodtsov, and also by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Damir Safiullin.
Among the issues discussed at the Summit 2014 were the development programme of Tatarstan energy industry for 2006-2020, experience in implementing new well completion technologies, new enhanced oil recovery technologies, etc.
On 4 July 2014, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the joint meeting of the Committee for Corruption Management under the Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade and the Commission for Observance of Requirements to Professional Conduct of Public Civil Servants and Resolving of Conflicts of Interest in the Ministry and Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Yesterday, Kazan saw the opening ceremony of the 12th Specialised Jewellery Exhibition YuvelirExpoKazan to be held on 2 to 6 July at Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre.
The exhibition is an effective business platform to establish contacts, hold commercial negotiations, and exchange information.
This year, the exhibition will bring together over 200 manufacturers and trading organisations from Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Kostroma, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Yakutsk, and other cities of Russia.
Today, the meeting of the Economic Council under the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers dealt with the energy supply issues.
The meeting was chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and was attended by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Damir Safiullin who delivered a report regarding the assurance of reliability and security of energy supply to consumers in the republic.Today, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov joined the delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to visit RAFF Group.
The delegates made a tour of the plant’s production facilities and studied the capacities of its new equipment.On 28 June 2014, Mendeleyevsk saw the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Novomendeleyevsk Chemical Plant for the production of ammonium nitrate. The celebration ceremony was held at Khimik Stadium and was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov.
The Anniversary celebration also brought together workers and long-term employees of the enterprise, as well as their numerous colleagues from various regions of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Baltic states.On 26 June 2014, The Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the final meeting of the Organising Committee of the Republic’s Annual Contest “The Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan” chaired by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov. The laureates of the Contest will be promoted to the federal stage of the Programme “100 Best Goods of Russia”.
The participation of republic’s enterprises in the contests of this programme encourages the quality and competitive strength of their products and allows them to adopt positive experience in the field of quality.Today, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov had a meeting with the President of O’Key Group Tony Denis Maher. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, and Head of the Kazan Executive Committee Denis Kalinkin.
O’Key Group is one of largest foodstuff retail chains in Russia. The today’s meeting included the discussion of prospects for O’Key Group to work in Tatarstan.
