On 22 August 2014, Agroprompark Kazan hosted the exhibition of Tatarstan agricultural manufacturers. The exhibition was attended by 70 agricultural manufacturers and processers, representatives of 28 trade outlets and distributing facilities operating in the republic.
The exhibition is jointly organised by the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuffs.The Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with the Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuff have organised the exhibition of the agricultural products’ manufacturers of the republic to be held in OAO Agro-Industrial Park Kazan pursuant to the Order of the Russia’s President Vladimir Putin ‘On application of individual special economic measures aimed to ensure security in the Russian Federation’, in aid of substitution of imported products by the locally manufactured goods in retail chains.
On 19 August 2014, the meeting of the Steering Committee dedicated to the celebration of the Engineering Worker’s Day in Tatarstan was held under the chairmanship of Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov. Within the framework of the official celebration of the Engineering Worker’s Day, the machine building industry employees, retired workers, representatives of the labour dynasties, young engineers and postgraduates, heads of children technical creativity hobby groups will be awarded.
On 19 August 2014, the organisational issues were discussed on the Tatarstan petrochemical forum at the meeting in the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade with the participation of Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov. Panel discussions will be held dedicated to issues of expansion of the republic’s chemical and petrochemical products to be used in both civil and road construction.
Finnair is opening a new Helsinki-Kazan-Helsinki air route. Flights will start from 18 August 2014. Flights will be performed by Flybe Finland Airline Company three times a week on Embraer E90 plane. Travelling time is 2 hours 30 minutes.
Air service between Kazan and Helsinki is an additional incentive to promote Tatarstan industrial and economic potential and it will help to improve cooperation between Finland and Tatarstan.From 13 August to 14 August 2014, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, representatives of leading machine building enterprises of the republic are participating in the 3rd International Forum ‘Technologies in Machine Building 2014’ taking place in Zhukovsky (Moscow Oblast) in the territory of Rossiya Exhibition Complex.
The ‘Technologies in Machine Building 2014’ Forum was attended by officials of the country, federal and regional ministries and agencies, representatives of leading scientific and industrial enterprises and institutions of Russia and foreign countries.
The mission of the Forum is to demonstrate a paramount importance of machine building in the implementation of national economic priorities indicated by the President and the Russian Government.
On 12 August 2014, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov attended the meeting between Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Turkey Consul General in Kazan Sabri Tunch Angili.
During the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that as the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be committed to the development of cooperation with Tatarstan within the Russian-Turkish relations.
