On 27 August 2015, Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of the PAO Gazprom Board of Directors Alexey Miller signed the Roadmap of the project “Expanding the Use of Tatarstan Companies’ High Technology Products Including Import Substituting Ones in the Interests of PAO Gazprom”. The ceremony was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the signing of the Roadmap was an important step in the strengthening of cooperation between Tatarstan and PAO Gazprom.

Interim Tatarstan President stated that Gazprom is the major customer for many Tatarstan enterprises. In the meantime, the company remains socially oriented and invests heavily in the republic’s sports sphere.

 

From 2 to 4 September 2015, Kazan will host Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Forum with the support of Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, and the Tatarstan Government.

The forum will be attended by over 200 enterprises, including 130 companies from Russian regions, over 50 Tatarstan enterprises, 16 companies from 9 countries worldwide (China, Denmark, USA, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Belarus, and India).

The forum comprises three thematic specialised exhibitions, 6 research and applied conferences, including the International Exhibition “Oil, Gas, Petrochemicals 2015”, and international research and applied conferences “Specific Features of Exploration and Development of Unconventional Hydrocarbon Deposits” and “Prospective Areas of Petrochemical Complex Development”.

The schedule of the forum also includes round table discussions on the issues of employing the republic’s petrochemical products in road and capital construction, as well as targeted meetings with participation of experts from petrochemical enterprises.

 

On 27 August 2015, the ceremony of putting into operation of gas pipeline branch and an automatic gas-distributing plant, which would ensure gas supply of Innopolis in the volume of up to 20,000 cubic metres per hour, was held in the Verkhneuslonsky District. The today’s event marks the completion of Phase One of the “Gas Pipeline Branch to Yelizavetino Village” investment project, implemented by PAO Gazprom.

The ceremony was attended by Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the PAO Gazprom Board of Directors Alexey Miller, representatives of republic’s ministries and agencies, and Gazprom Transgas Kazan employees.

 

OOO Gazprom Transgas Kazan celebrates its 60th anniversary. The company (its former name is OOO Tattransgas) was established in 1955 after putting in operation the Minnibaevo-Kazan main gas pipeline, which was the third gas pipeline to be built in post-war period in the country, and the first one in Tatarstan.

Starting from 2006, the enterprise successfully implements Tatarstan Gas Supply Programmes that are funded through applying special surcharges to service tariffs of the gas transportation along gas distribution networks of OOO Gazprom Transgas Kazan. These Programmes are the major avenue of comprehensive work for ensuring the development of gas infrastructure in Tatarstan.

One of the priority areas of OOO Gazprom Transgas Kazan is sponsorship and charity. It is focused on financial and practical aid for socially vulnerable groups, creative and sports teams, gifted children, educational and health care institutions.

On 25 August 2015, Tatarstan Interim President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, representatives of the republic’s aircraft engineering enterprises attended the opening ceremony of the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2015, which takes place in Zhukovski, a Moscow Oblast town.

The Interim Tatarstan President has informed himself about the companies that were presented within MAKS 2015, attended the special flight programme and reviewed the new flight simulator exhibits.

Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov also took part in the meetings of Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with President of PAO United Aircraft Corporation (PAO UAC) Yuri Slyusar and Director General of the Russian Helicopters Holding Aleksandr Mikheyev. The meetings dealt with the issues of import substitution.

On 25 August 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov attends the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2015 within the Tatarstan delegation headed by Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

The most important component in the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2015 is its extensive business programme. Aviation Salon is a platform for professional dialogue, networking, and exploring practical achievements in the spheres of development, manufacture, sales, operation and maintenance of aircraft.

In addition, the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2015 features a rich flight programme.

 

On 24 August 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov presented the Letter of Gratitude by the Government of the Russian Federation to Guzalia Khasanova, the Head of the Department for Interregional Relations Development of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade for her active involvement in providing the assistance to the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

On 21 August 2015, Bugulma hosted the plenary session of the republic’s August meeting of Tatarstan education and science workers, chaired by Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The event was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov.

According to the Interim Tatarstan President, the Republic of Tatarstan has a lead in key economic factors and holds dominant positions in various spheres.

Rustam Minnikhanov said that the development of the Republic of Tatarstan would be impossible without innovative development of the educational system. According to the Interim Tatarstan President, our task is to bring up and educate new generation of professionals and likeminded people.

 

On 22 August 2015, the employees of OAO POZIS will summarise the results of the 8th Plantwide Zdorovye (Health) Spartakiada Games. The best athletes will be awarded during the traditional corporate holiday ‘POZIS: Sports and Labour Come Together’.

Traditionally, the employees of POZIS come to the holiday with their families. The programme of the holiday includes a large-scale music and entertainment programme, the relay race ‘Father, Mother and Me – Sports Family’, and the creativity competition ‘The View of the Young Sergovchanin (child of the POZIS employee) of POZIS brand’.

On 20 August 2015, traditional competitions were held among volunteer fire brigades of Yelabuga Automobile Plant subdivisions. The participants of the competitions became 8 teams.

According to the jury, which comprised representatives of the Fire Station-70, work safety service, fire security and industrial ecology services, trade committee union, the participants of the competitions showed good theoretical knowledge of fire safety rules and practical experience in fighting imaginary fire.

The representatives of the automotive-tractor manufacture workshop ranked first, the team of the engineering centre ranked second, and assembly workshop ranked third. The winning teams were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts.
