On 7 September 2015, within the framework of his working visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with top officials and executives of Naberezhnye Chelny. The meeting was also attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Head of the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeyev, and Director General of PAO Kamaz Sergey Kogogin.

The Head of Tatarstan noted that Naberezhnye Chelny is a strategic city not only for Tatarstan, but also for Russia as a whole.

Most of the large-scale projects are implemented on the territory of the Kama cluster, which is intended to be the key point of the republic’s economic growth for the next 10 years.

Oil and gas industry is the basis of the Tatarstan economy and our country as a whole; it forms an income base and serves as a source for the further growth. That was stated on 5 September 2015 by Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov during the festive events dedicated to the Oil and Gas Industry Workers Day in Almetyevsk.

In his address to the participants of the official event, Rustam Minnikhanov commended the contribution oil industry workers make in economic and social development of the republic and congratulated everybody on the Oil and Gas Industry Workers Day. Special thanks were addressed to the long-service employees of this sphere.

On 3 September 2015, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and Representative of the Saxony Economy Facilitation Department ‘WFS’ (Germany) to Russia Dr. Manfred Liebl.

The meeting was dedicated to the issues of the current state and promising areas of cooperation between the Tatarstan and Saxony in the spheres of petrochemicals, automobile and aircraft engineering, implementing of advanced technology, and personnel training.

Within the framework of the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum, Representative of the Saxony Economy Facilitation Department ‘WFS’ (Germany) to Russia Dr. Manfred Liebl attended the plenary session of the science and applied conference ‘Prospective Areas of Petrochemical Complex Development’.

 

On 3 September 2015, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and the delegation from Thuringia (Germany). During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Thuringia in various spheres.

The Russia’s first plant for manufacturing car engines of foreign brand launched on 3 September 2015 in the Special Economic Zone Alabuga. The startup ceremony of the FordSollers engine plant was attended by Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

All the manufactured engines will be used to complete Ford vehicles from Russian plants of the FordSollers Joint Venture. 1.6 Ti-VCT Sigma petrol engine is the first engine model to be produced at the plant; in various modifications it is rated at 85, 105, and 125 hp.

 

On 2 September 2015, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and the delegation of the Chinese corporation Gunda (the city of Harbin).

The meeting was dedicated to the promising areas of cooperation between the Tatarstan and China-based Gunda corporation in various spheres, such as congress and exhibition activities, petrochemicals, mechanical engineering, and implementing of infrastructure projects.

The delegation from China attended the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum.

On 2 September 2015, Kazan hosted the Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum, one of the largest events of the Russian oil, gas and petrochemicals industry, which is held with the support of the President of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, and the Tatarstan Government.

The ceremonial opening of the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Forum was attended by Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.

The Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan thanked Rustam Minnikhanov and the Tatarstan government for the good organisation of the Forum. Rustem Khamitov expressed his hope that this exhibition would mark the beginning of the new strong joint work between companies of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan.

From 2 to 4 September 2015, Kazan will host Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Forum with the support of Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, and the Tatarstan Government.

The forum will be attended by over 200 enterprises, including 130 companies from Russian regions, over 50 Tatarstan enterprises, 16 companies from 9 countries worldwide (China, Denmark, USA, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Belarus, and India).

The forum comprises three thematic specialised exhibitions, 6 research and applied conferences, including the International Exhibition “Oil, Gas, Petrochemicals 2015”, and international research and applied conferences “Specific Features of Exploration and Development of Unconventional Hydrocarbon Deposits” and “Prospective Areas of Petrochemical Complex Development”.

The schedule of the forum also includes round table discussions on the issues of employing the republic’s petrochemical products in road and capital construction, as well as targeted meetings with participation of experts from petrochemical enterprises.

 

On 1 September 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov visited the 1st Gymnasium of the city of Yelabuga and congratulated the teaching staff, gymnasium students and their parents on the occasion of the Knowledge Day.

As of today, the Gymnasium opened in 1991 is one of the best of its kind in the city. The Gymnasium today is a school of innovative development; the school that promotes sports and healthy lifestyle; the winner of the School after Classes republic’s grant; the winner of the Dear Faces of the Victory republic’s grant that was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Ravil Zaripov congratulated the teachers, gymnasium students and their parents on the holiday and wished them happiness, prosperity, and new victories.
