Almetyevsk hosted the annual professional skills competition among the young employees of the key professions of Tatneft Group and service oil companies of the region. Traditionally, the area of the Tatneft Personnel Training Centre gathered the best young professionals of structural subdivisions, company’s subsidiaries, and Tatarstan service organisations.
In 2015, the professional skills competition is held for the 45th time. According to the results of the competition, the team of Almetyevneft Oil and Gas Production Department ranked first and won the challenge cup, Elkhovneft Oil and Gas Production Department ranked second and Yamashneft Oil and Gas Production Department ranked third.
On 19 August 2015, Kazan hosted the plenary meeting of the 3rd Republic’s Forum of Socially Oriented Non-profit Organisations. The meeting was attended by Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, representatives of the republic’s ministries and agencies, heads of Tatarstan municipal districts, and others.
Tatarstan hosts the Forum of Socially Oriented Non-profit Organisations since 2011. The mission is to join efforts of civil society institutions and authorities for further innovative development of the republic and improvement of the population’s life quality.
To date, Tatarstan numbers about 400 socially oriented non-profit organisations.
Kazan Helicopters organised the volunteer action ‘75 Good Deeds. Bez Buldyrabyz! We can!” prior to its 75th anniversary. Within the framework of the programme that has started at the beginning of summer, the plant’s employees independently supervise and implement charity projects they chose. Within the framework of the campaign, volunteers donate their blood, raise funds for charities, organise holidays for children in hospices, do minor repairs in kindergartens and orphanages, clean up parks, public gardens, and public recreation areas, help animal shelters, etc.
On 18 August 2015, a new oil-extracting NEFIS Bio plant was opened in the Usady village in the Laishevsky District, Tatarstan. The official opening ceremony was attended by Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov.
The new plant is the construction final stage of NEFIS Bioproduct manufacturing complex for deep oilseeds processing, which also includes Oil Refining Plant and Plant Producing Bottled Oils, Mayonnaise and Sauces. Thanks to launching new capacities, NEFIS Group will be able to process up to 1 million tonnes of oilseeds per year.
Before the launching of the production, the raw material processing capacity of NEFIS Group at OAO Kazan Oil-Extraction Plant constructed by the company in 2007 made 330 thousand tonnes of oilseeds per year. Kazan Oil-Extraction Plant produced up to 150 thousand tonnes of crude vegetable oil and 175 thousand tonnes of oil meal.
On 17 August 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov chaired the meeting in the videoconference format with Tatarstan representatives abroad and in Russia entities. The conference was attended by top officials from Tatarstan ministries, agencies, and societal organisations.
Head of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaipov familiarised the participants with the plan of large-scale international events with the involvement of the Tatarstan government and industrial enterprises.
During the meeting, current issues of the Tatarstan representatives’ activities were also discussed.
On 17 August 2015, during the meeting between Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Trade Representative of the Russia in the USA Alexander Stadnik parties discussed the possibilities for cooperation under current conditions and touched issues dedicated to the modern global economic and political situation.
During the meeting, Alexander Stadnik noted that some of the USA states and such Russian region as Tatarstan are interested in strategic bilateral cooperation.
On 14 August 2015, Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had the meeting with Moscow Oblast Governor Andrey Vorobyov.
Before the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov and Andrey Vorobyov signed the Agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural cooperation between the Tatarstan and the Moscow Oblast Government.
Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to Andrey Vorobyov for his support to the Tatars living in the Moscow region.
In his turn, Andrey Vorobyov thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for hearty reception. He noted that for the last few years Tatarstan made a significant breakthrough in its development.
On 14 August 2015, the delegation from the Moscow Oblast headed by Governor Andrey Vorobyov had a working trip to Tatarstan. Within the framework of their visit, the members of the delegation had a meeting with Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The parties discussed the issues of further interregional cooperation. During the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov and Andrey Vorobyov signed an Agreement between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Moscow Oblast Government on trade, economic, scientific, technical, social, and cultural cooperation.
The members of the Moscow Oblast delegation learn about infrastructure of the Universiade Village, activities of IT-Park and Technopark Himgrad, visited Educational Laboratory Campus of the Kazan Federal University Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology and Regional Engineering Centre of Medical Simulators ‘Eidos’ and attended the charity hockey game ‘With all the Heart’.
Tatneft summarized the results of the Tatneft Group of Companies’ contest ‘Reliable Partner (Supplier)’. Tatneft company presented the Reliable Partner (Supplier) certificates to its 30 best partners from small and medium-sized businesses. The participants of the contest were 560 small and medium enterprises.

On 12 August 2015, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and the delegation from Sichuan Province headed by Director of Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Committee Tang Limin.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of the trade and economic cooperation between Tatarstan and the Sichuan Province (PRC) in the manufacturing industry, transport, agriculture and, construction.
According to Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, cooperation between Russian and Chinese regions reached a new level owing to the support and direct participation of Representative Plenipotentiary of the Russian President in the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich.
