On 27 October 2015, in the conference hall Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers hosted the Closing ceremony of the 6th Republic’s contest “Up”.
The winner-awarding ceremony was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Vasil Shaikhraziev, Tatarstan Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport Vladimir Leonov, President of the Regional Public Organization “Academy of Creative Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan” Valentin Shikhobalov, representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.
On 24 October 2015, Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers hosted the meeting chaired by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov on the performance discipline situation, the results of implementation of the state task on population life quality indicators and the progress of implementation of the Orders of the President of the Russian Federation No. 569‑601, 606 as of 7 May 2015, and the tasks for their further implementation. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Almaz Khusainov.
The House of Entertaining Science and Technology hosted the night event “Let’s Go to the Space” on the night of 25 October. The event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the opening of the House of Entertaining Science in Leningrad and the presentation of the first children’s Technopark “Alga”.
Sight-seeing tours and scientific shows were organised for the whole night.
From 22 to 26 October 2015, Exhibition Centre “Kazanskaya Yarmarka” hosts the 7th Specialized Exhibition and Sale “Art Gallery. Kazan”. The official opening ceremony was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Over 180 experts and teams engaged in creative activities from 32 cities of Russia take part in the exhibition, to wit, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Perm, Samara, Saint Petersburg, Ufa, as well as 5 countries: the Republic of Belarus, Dagestan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
On 21 October 2015, PAO Tatneft hosted the quarterly meeting with the small oil companies (SOC) chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Damir Safiullin, Director General of PAO Tatneft Nail Maganov and the heads of other republic’s ministries and agencies.
Director General of ZAO Neftekonsortsium Fanis Valiev noted that during 9 months of the current year Tatarstan small oil companies produced 5,296,000 tonnes of oil, which is an increase by 116,000 year on year.
On 21 October 2015, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the opening ceremony of the new 3M Volga plant, producing liquid corrosion-resistant coating for oil and gas industry in the special economic zone Alabuga.
Production of liquid corrosion-resistant coating for oil and gas industry is expected to be the first phase of the 3M Volga project implementation. The company has further plans to fully provide the Russia’s market with the locally produced product as well as to establish exports to the CIS countries.
On 20 October 2015, the Tyumen Oblast delegation headed by Deputy Director of the Housing and Utilities Department of Tyumen Oblast A. Maier arrived to the Republic of Tatarstan.
Within the framework of their visit to the republic, the delegation will visit the Zelenodolsk Municipal District, the Tyulyachi Municipal District and SEZ Innopolis.
In addition, the delegation plans to have a meeting with the top officials of the Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services, Tatarstan Ministry of Economy, and Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
The Gagauzia delegation (Republic of Moldova) headed by Başcan (Governor) of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia Irina Vlah arrived to the Republic of Tatarstan with a working visit. Within the two-day visit (19-20 October 2015), the members of the delegation learned about the Tatarstan economy and the investment potential, visited the teaching and laboratory campus of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology of the Kazan Federal University, Eidos Regional Engineering Centre of Medical Simulators, Kazan Agro-Industrial Park, Techopolis Himgrad, etc.
On 16 October 2015, the Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov had a working trip to Chelyabinsk Oblast.
Within the visit programme, the Tatarstan delegation attended the opening ceremony of the monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union and great Tatar poet Musa Cälil, visited the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant and various cultural sites.
The Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov attended the finals of the All-Russian Contest ‘Tatar Kyzy (Girl) 2015’.
On 15 October 2015, Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the International Conference “Match4Industry Business Matching Event” within the framework of his working visit to the Republic of Turkey.
The conference was also attended by representatives of the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry (Turkey), executives of the Turkish Association of Automotive Parts and Components, EU Business Development Centre of East Marmara.
The companies, manufacturing automotive components, equipment, electronics, software, chemicals, construction, service, food industry and others were presented at the conference.
